I bought a Redmi 8A a few months back and it came in time. Payment was secure and has 2FA. Free delivery via Aramex.

Edit: I placed an order for the watch on Friday. It's an import order though so it'll arrive in 7-12 business days.

I'm very nervous to do this update as that changelog below App Vault refers to EU privacy law. Why do I have a bad feeling this update will remove Miui dialler and give the 9T stock dialler with no call recording?

What do you guys use to deal with in app ads? Or is there a way to block ads from showing in apps?

I use blokada slim. Used adguard and different version of blokada before but it was detected by the author of the cinema app which is basically one of the most used pirate apps for VOD

And this is on phone and not android box right. Or the same principle still applies. Will checkout blokada thanks. It's just Google now news articles that are so ridden with ads its crazy.

Well never tried to see if it helps for google now news, let us know if it works. And yes same principle on tv box and phone.

Really got to get round to flashing this POS with non Xiaomi crap.

Anyone had this before. I have a Telkom data sim in the card... data no longer works.
1.) Take the sim out the phone, put it in another device and data works
2.) Take the other devices Telkom sim and put it in the phone - data works.
3.) Put original sim card back, data no longer works.

Doesn't make a difference if its in the 1st or 2nd sim slot

This will be the 2nd time since getting the phone at the beginning of December that I have to do a hard reset

Fixed with this... Lost all my settings though.

Found out the answer to the question. Came with googles phone app. That explains and clears up alot.

@enerdude Blokada slim did not manage to deal with google now news articles ads so I have just resorted to opening them with Brave browser which works perfect even though it's an extra step. Thanks though for the recommendation. I'm sure it'll come in handy with other apps or in other situations.

All handsets from the Mi 9T Pro onwards, released with global rom, ship with the google dialler and therefore NO call recording. Mi 9T (non pro) was the last handset to keep Miui Dialler and call recording.

I assume you enabled adguard dns before turning on blokada?
And turning on blokada meaning starting the localized vpn
