I would stick with Xiaomi - they are excellent with their updates and are bug free. I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 last year October - I love it. But just for the heck of it, I also bought a Leeco LeTV LE MAX one month later. It has excellent specs, 128 GB of memory !!!!!! and excellent 6.33 " 2K display etc etc etc. But they have never updated their firmware since it was released at the beginning of last year. There isn't even an option to search for software updates in their EUI OS. I get several phone freezes during the day, and it follows with a reboot. It lies on the table near me, and I see the phone doing something.....I glance over at it, and it is busy doing a reboot on it's own. Such a pity as it has great hardware. Xiaomi on the other hand, is a slick, error free, bug free, reputable product. I love Xiaomi products so much, I keep doing a search for them on Gearbest to see if they have brought out something new that i can buy. I have the Xiaomi MiBand 2 watch - also a great product....lasts 3 - 4 weeks on a charge.
Now waiting to see what the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be like....if not that one, then I am tempted to get the new Matt black Xiaomi Mi Max 2
