Run that by me again? The second app doesn't prompt me. Which is nice. But the first one does. Which is not nice

I split my Steam and use the prompt on 1st app as a selecor on what logon I wanne use. the actual second icon is in my hidden apps folder

You can still install a custom ROM and keep fingerprint authentication as long as you don't root your device. Just unlocking the boot loader doesn't break it.
Last I checked, aren't most custom ROMs rooted by default?

I dropped my Redmi Note 4X(4gb Ram 64gb rom Mediatek) into a basin of water and after a night in rice It wasn't switching on. I relegated it to paper weight status and bought a new note 4. After a while i decided to give the old one another try and would you believe it's now working 100%?

I'm going to give it to my cousin and keep the newer model but I'm just so impressed with how tough these phones are for the price!

These phones are fantastic value for money.

Did you replace it with a SD625 variant Note 4 or the same MTK one you had? Glad you could rescue the one you submerged. Next time send it for swimming lessons first :D

a 625 3gb ram 32gb rom version. I can hardly tell the difference in my usage other than battery life.

Nice to have a real world opinion on Note 4 Mediatek versus SD625

So if you had to buy again today, you'd take the extra battery life in the SD625? No real performance loss over the Mediatek?

I've had both as well. On Day to day you will not notice the speed diff unless you play games MDT has less frame drops in demanding games. If you do place the 2 phones next to each other you will see the MDT being faster but as an everyday drive only thing you will notice is the SD625 battery just refuse to die.

TBH I prefer to sacrifice performance for battery life. I really don't play demanding games.

I only use Chrome but sometimes I've had the bluetooth share service stop working after I paste a copied number into the phone dialer app. Strange as they're not in any way related

+1 the battery life on the 625 is worth the Ram and Cpu "downgrade". I don't notice it at all.

6hrs SOT on my Redmi Note 3 today and I wasn't even trying. Rock on! Screenshot_2017-08-20-22-31-04-507_com.miui.securitycenter.jpg

These phones are such good value for money. They just keep going on and on. Mine:

I'm sure I could get 10 hours out of this charge but I'm traveling tomorrow and don't want to be left in the lurch in case I run into trouble

Excellent!

It definitely is bloatware and the such that sucks your battery. Useless POS bloatware *spits*

And firefox hung for the third time, dang thing. Reported.

It happens when I pinch to zoom in to edit some text.

The Samsung beta browser now works on all devices from 5.0 up and you can install an ad blocker.
