2 sims, 1 for data 1 for calls. And i have the full load of social apps etc loaded, so its not like the phone is empty of battery draining apps. this is my 3rd charge since getting it, and i'm VERY impressed.

Facebook seems to be using as much battery as WhatsApp for me. Which is odd. Definitely not on it that much. Such a bloated app, that one.

So, you guys want some good battery life ? Have a look at my new Matt Black Xiaomi Mi Max 2 - 4 days and one hour and the battery is not dead yet. That's like 97 hours !!!! if I used the battery up it would surely be over 100 hours. That was with usual use - used for WhatsApp, calls, text, web browsing, apps, GPS (Waze) etc. No video or gaming was used in those 4 days.

Root, add persist.camera.HAL3.enabled 1 to build.prop, unroot and off you go?

Don't know how FNB app works if its purely a root check cause you can unroot after changes.

You've got me thinking that perhaps it will be possible to temporarily root with TWRP, change the build.prop and upon reboot it should still be there? I know little of these things but this is as far as I can follow

My dad's Note 4 had a random notification pop up the other day and today mine did the same. I've searched for the filename but I cannot find it on my phone. I was too scared to play it in case it was something malicious lol

Upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will be from an entirely new series

It was speculated that Xiaomi was releasing the Mi 6 or Mi 5X globally but this seems not to be the case anymore.

While we were looking forward to the global launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, the Chinese company has now confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will mark the launch of an entirely new series instead. The confirmation came in the form of a video teaser.

With this, the company has put the spotlight on the Android One phone that it's working on in collaboration with Google. Rumors so far say the device will be called the Mi A1, and will be a stock Android Xiaomi Mi 5X version with full screen display.

Sadly, nothing is officially confirmed at the moment, except of course that there will be a 'flagship dual camera.' The event is set for September 5 in India, so we won't have to wait much longer.

On a similar vein, running note 4 with music app . I copied music to phone. All tracks for albums in their own folders. All tracks numbered e.g. 01- song1, 02-track 2.

Problem is that that phone doesn't play it that order . It's got its own random order which doesn't make sense. Is there a way to force it to use track name for order. Can't seem to find this option.

Thing was well past it's "Sell-by" before I took delivery. Need to calm the f down again with an Android.
