The Official Xiaomi Thread

I ordered on 27 March but they only sent it out on the 14th of April. I suppose it is still a bit soon to be worrying, hey? This was with Geekbuying. I specifically did not go with premium rated shipping as, in my eyes, that defeats the point of buying a cheap phone from overseas. I would rather have waited it out as nothing was chasing me, but now that my Redmi Note 2 battery is acting up I am getting slightly impatient. I guess I should have opted for express shipping but hindsight is as they say 20/20
My partial order arrived yesterday, shipped on the 1st.. I'd say you have about another two weeks.

Seen them before. Don't know if anyone ever used them. Nice case let me know if you do get it how they & it performs.

Funny enough they stock the exact cover I ended up keeping for my Note 4X They sell it for R290, Gearbest had it for R80 excluding shipping.

Pity they dont have the case I wanna get next for R60 excluding shipping.
If this guy wants to get it I will inform you guys about them. Can pay with PayPal so kind of covered.

The brushed one look mooi. What I've been doing is ordering cases and forgetting about them so the snail mail method doesn't hurt so much.

Doing the same thing re cases just in batches. Already had about 4 here that I tried, kept 2 and sold off others to friend's or even given away. In fact I still have a clear soft case up for free if anyone has a Note 4. Not shipping it as it only cost me R20.

Strange your battery is taking a knock on your note2 , my wife's was fine unless she played Pokemon go. Her note 3 on the other hand even with gaming gets a decent day out of it. And it performs as well if not better than my g4. Which has atrocious battery.

I'm shocked how cheap this thing was. R3012 excl. Customs

Just got my Xiaomi Mi Band 2 today.

Must say for $21 its not a bad little device at all, in fact its more than I hoped for:

Was just looking for something to tell time and vibrate when phone rings. Supersized to see that it shows names of callers/SMS and can even be set to indicate notifications from Whatsapp and so on. Nevermind the Heart-Rate, step counter and sleep cycle.

This is even without the 3rd party apps like Notify and fitness that add even more functions to it.

I love my Mi Band 2.

I get around 25 - 26 days out of it before the battery dips below 5%. Mine only vibrates for incoming calls and emails (phone is always on silent) and then my alarm in the morning. Fully waterproof but the band does scuff quite fast so I ordered a spare which I will use when the original one looks a bit shoddy

I ordered 2 spare bands from the get go. Just a question re waterproofing, do you shower with yours?

I take mine off while showering. It's a habit from when I used to wear a sports watch, one of those R99 jobbies.

I have forgotten it on a few times and even gone swimming in the sea with it on occasion, seems like it didn't even flinch
