Sure did - It seems to be working fine. I see some people on GSMArena are complaining about GPS, 4G and BT issues. All I can see thus far, is that my connected BT devices aren't showing in the notification area - but they are connected and working fine. Someone mentioned that Xiaomi issued a 70mb patch to address the issues, but I have not seen it.
The update brings a dedicated FM-Radio icon, so you can now access the radio directly. Otherwise it is Pie as advertised.
 
Hi All,
Is there a Android rom that I can flash on my Redmi Note 4 global edition .

I have locked myself out after a factory reset and cant remember password to reset cloud account.

So I have only 2 options send phone to service centre or find a Android rom that can be flashed onto phone.

Comments and advice will be much appreciated.

Can you not reset the Mi Cloud account password with the email address you used to sign up for it?

Does anyone know of any South African store or online retailers that sell the Mi 8 or Poco F1? Most of the retailers in the OP, either don't ship to South Africa, or actually don't sell Xaoimi phones.

I was gunna use https://miphones.co.za, but their site went down a couple days ago and hasn't come back up. Like I said, I'm looking to get a Mi8 or a Pocophone F1, can anyone recommend that best method to go about getting one?

How will you flash it then? and you need your Mi account to get the unlock permission.

Can you not follow Phiresides advice?

Miphones.co.za is owned by WeFix, who are in financial difficulty. Might be related...

Ah I see. It's still down and I haven't been able to access it for about 4/5 days now, so it's not looking promising.

That Kinda sucks as their service was great if you needed a screen cover urgently while you waited for internation ones to arrive.

I use to get items 1-2 days after order.

I ordered 2 pocophones through them and now they have vanished into thin air. Even emailing them bounces back to sender. Hope its not 15k down the drain.
