Screen on time?
Very little to be honest, this is my 2n d phone so only 5 minutes out of that 145h6m.

What phone is this?
Redmi 9A.

Using it side by side with my Note 9T it is not as snappy and it does sometimes take it sweet time to open something or navigate between apps. But at the price point it is not bad. The face unlock works very good, I bought two of the 9As and gave one to my dad. He is very happy with it too, especially face unlock, he had never used any other form of unlocking except screen pattern but this works pretty good for him.

Cool:thumbsup:. The Redmi 9 series phones are friggin awesome value for money. Best performance ever for entry level phones like the 9A and 9C. Love my 9C which is now just over a year old:thumbsup:.

Still. Damn impressive. Being on WiFi probably extended the standby for a fair bit.

I am being driven crazy with these gambling adds that pop up when I go into the file manager folder in my Note 10 pro. Looked for a setting but couldn't find anything, and it is taking too long to get an answer from MIA support. Is there any way of stopping these ads?

Also is anybody using Mi PC Suite. MIA suggested using this app to transfer files and folders/backup phone, but the app does not seem to work. No matter what I do the app does not see my phone. Debugging etc all been done.

Thanks

For the first issue, go into the app's settings and disable RECOMMENDATIONS

Anybody interested in a Note 11 Pro?

I followed this video, and also set up Adguard as Private DNS, no ads in sight anywhere.

The Xaiomi phones seem to learn if you don't click on ads....I remember when I first got this phone I saw ads here and there with the pre-installed apps. Now I see Zero ads and I haven't uninstalled anything. It's like the ads know they been told to ****off lol because I don't want to buy their ****:thumbsup:.

It's flag ship level with some of the latest specs. And I don't think the fancy dual-battery 120w charging hardware, helped cut down on costs either.

But I admit to having thought something similar, and do hope that the launch pricing will perhaps start to fall. What a device.

Exactly. Put a Samsung or Apple label on it and you're like at like 40 grand.

The S21 FE & 11T Pro both have a Snapdragon 888.

I would rather spend that cash on the S21 FE.

Samsung is a more reliable and optimised experience.

The screen and cameras are probably better on the S21 FE.

The 11T Pro has 8gb but its probably pointless with Xiaomi's ram management problems.

Xiaomi has a lot of work to do before I fork out 14k on their phones.

The pricing is fine, take a look a what other phones are on offer in this price range, there's not many with flagship SoC's.
They share the same processor.
The problem is their software.

Apparently the 11T pro streams Netflix between 480-720p, due to some software glitch.

Xiaomi can't be asking for Samsung prices with their constant bugs.

I haven't done the comparison between these two. I've been hearing only good things about both phones actually.

I'm not going to be in the market for a 14k phone for some time, if at all.

The Xiamoi 12 pro, which is the 'like for like' upgrade already looks to start at >18k

Soon the Redmi note range will be in the 10k region and Redmi range in the 5.5k region...

I was planning on buying the Note 11 Pro this year. I won't purchase it at 6k though.

No forest riding today, out on the open hills the Mi Band 6 GPS drifted off route quite a bit. I did regain accuracy on flatter surface again. This was on the side of a hill.

Off by about 55m here with the single track switchback.

Is there a way to recalibrate the GPS on the band somehow? Otherwise, your Strava buddies will constantly think you are imbibing while riding.
