The temps seem similar to the nvidia founders edition cards, bit hot. In msi afterburner set the fan speed to 65% an run the benchmark again noting the temps now.

The score seems normal.
Tried setting fan speed in afterburner but get same results with heat. I have ordered additional fans for my case tho as even with the 1070 it got a little warm. Currently only have 2 intake attached to AIO and one exhaust. Have ordered 2x 140mm which will go on top of case and also work as intake blowing down on to GPU which should also help.

If your psu is bottom mounted and the fan pointing down you can rotate it so the fan is pointing up, i've found this also helps extracting hot air from the case. top mounting the aio with the fans blowing out might also help.

I have a Phanteks P400S case so AIO can only be mounted in the front. The PSU is in its own section in the bottom so will check which way fans are in PSU. But will first see if new fans will help. I'm sure they will as they will bring air in from top down onto GPU.

So I have a slight issue. I bought new fans for PC - Fractal Design Prisma AL-14 PWM. They are RGB so have 3 of them connected but then when it comes time to attach the RGB connector to mobo I can't find any connector that is a 3 pin connector.

See attached.

Am I missing something or wont the RGB fans work? I went with them as they are Aurous sync compatible.

Yeah I had the same case with a AIO CPU Cooler and a 1080ti.

Had to change case as the GPU got too hot.

I believe that you need a 3 to 4 pin adaptor. Wootware should have stock.

I thought I might need something like that. Well I suppose it makes sense to wait till I need something else as shipping might be quite a bit if the cable is cheap.

Last I checked, it was about +/-R100.

They might ship to you for free or at a reduced rate if you plead your case. Speak to Dimitri.

If wootware can't help any idea where else I can get one of these cables from?

What helped alot is I was able to daisychain the three fans together so only need one connection to the mobo.

Yeah I think you're out of luck.

Might have to order it from ebay/amazon.

@ponder , any suggestions?

Is there anything I can try to get the RGB fans to work or is the only way a new motherboard?

The rgb headers on your motherboard are for 12V rgb led strips ONLY. The fan leds require a 3-pin 5V argb connector which your mb does not have according to the manual.

You can buy a fan controller for R130 but it wont sync with other aura sync pheripherals, https://www.wootware.co.za/fractal-design-fd-acc-adj-r1-bk-adjust-r1-addressable-rgb-controller.html

On the fan box where it says power connector is that a sticker to the right?

Yes and it's correct. Fans have 4-pin pwm which the mb supports, they however have a 3-pin connector for the leds which his mb does not have. He has spinning fans but no lights.

Ok thanks bud.

I just presumed that cause of Aura Sync there wouldn't be any issues.

So I guess only way to get them to work is to upgrade my mb?

Do all ARGB fans use the 3 pin so no point in looking at corsair or cooler master fans?

I looked at that but the image doest look like it will work as all connectors have 4 pin whereas mine are 3 pin.
Oh sorry on my phone I didn't see the missing pin, but on the PC I see so. Sorry

You can use the controller I linked to. Upgrading a mb for some blingy lights seems excessive.

Yes, the connector seems standard. You do get 12V rgb fans like XSPC RGB Series for example but I dont know if they work with aura sync.
