Any reason you want an external storage drive?

I have a lot of personal data and two hard drives just failed on me after 6/7 years. Luckily it wasn't my personal data. I just lost nearly 500 gigs of TV series.

Yeah I moved here on 20 May this year.

I listed stuff of affordability but I will consider the better suggestions as that list comes to around £800. I don't earn a lot and really need to replace my dinosaur. Lol

Chipped away at it over weekend. Just waiting for NVMe’s to come in from Amazon tomorrow. Far from glamor shot but it gives you an idea.

CPU is loaner 3600x from Evetech will drop in 3900x with Cooler master AIO when that arrives.

Once complete will take some decent pictures.

Drives arrived from Amazon. R4853 for all of them.

Hi
I'm not the nearly as smart as 99% of you guys so please help out if you can. I want to upgrade my pc and I use it for everything and gaming wise it's below par so I've got about R6000 if needed I can sell my kidney and stretch it to R10k to spend. Not sure what I can keep and what I need to chuck. So if possible give options for R6K and R10K.
I will keep my case (coolermaster storm) and my monitor (27") and power supply (see pic). My one fan is not working on my 660 graphics card so that will have to go. Sorry I only realise now how dirty my box is inside. **** it's dirty. Sorry. Other specs also on attached pics. I will keep my hard drives too. I stay down the road from wootware.
Please help.
Thanks

Gaming at 1080p 60fps being the goal? I'd look into people selling off their first or second gen Ryzen bits if secondhand isn't a problem for you.

Well if can at least play new games at mid spec is also fine. Main idea is it should last at least a couple of years with minor upgrades needed here and there as needed or if something breaks.

Preferably new but if I need to go 2nd hand so be it. I do realize i dont have a million bucks to spend so beggars cant be choosers. Make due with what you've got.
Thanks

Look at this for the GPU so long https://carbonite.co.za/index.php?threads/6x-gigabyte-gtx-1070-windforce-oc-5-brand-new.256066/

The above system will allow you to play most new games on max settings @1080p 60FPS

That's dof. What do secondhand 1600's go for? There's only a couple percent difference between a 1600 and 2600.

1600 for around R1 500.00 is decent.

Good boards for the price with vrms & cooling that surpass products from other manufacturers.
