Yeah can't justify a R500 increase in 2 weeks that's ridiculous, even with the exchange rate, there's no way they bought new stock in.

Air France alone is bring 4x 747-400 cargo carriers in a week, harbours are still operating, for freight, so not impossible. Goods are still moving, just not in the volumes and as freely as before.

Motherboard ordered. Now just RAM.

Also, need USB port plate, something that fits in a drive bay slot, and plugs into headers on motherboard. Need 4 extra USB slots. Do you get such things.

Seems like they are available, google "Front panel usb hub". Seems like you get different configurations.

PC link shop list a whole bunch here. Just check which configuration you need, and probably a USB 3.0 one.

Looking for some advise please... I’ve gone back to doing some cinematography editing my old faithful Dell won’t render 4k video... she even struggles with 1080 if I add some newer graphics and effects.
So what I’m looking at is a totally new desktop case for around R20k budget... give or take... but I’m not sure of the latest hardware and brands.

Looking at:
9th gen i7 / AMD 3800
16/32 RAM
Nvidia 1660 6gig card... not sure about manufacturers etc.
The rest are general additions.

Where would be the best to order and build it? Or would I find it pre-built?

Thanks, I’ll have a look at that. Not really worried to wait until end April for other shops to open but that would change if lockdown is extended.

Atm best bet is wootware and computer mania as they are shipping.

I would go for.

3700x
32gb ram
B450 aorus elite
5600xt
I've got the b450 aorus elite, I would rather go for the MSI Mortar to be honest. But wow the Gigabyte now costs 600 bucks more than when I got it a year and 4 months ago

Okay seems the MSI B450 motherboard does not have Bluetooth, what are the options to get Bluetooth added. Have Bluetooth headset, and Soundbar.

Check this out on takealot: Baobab Bluetooth V4.0 USB 2.0 Dongle - Black
Don't think many motherboards have Bluetooth.

You can probably find them if you check. I've got that dongle, it works for what it is :)

Can you only connect a single device to it, or can it accept connections from multiple devices.

Nice that you can endorse it. :)
Honestly not tried multiple devices, I hooked up my BT headphones and my BT sound bar. Also an Xbox One controller and a keyboard at one point to test. Otherwise I originally bought it to use the Xbox One controller, but BT and it aren't great :-(
