Absolute unit of a cooler :D

After running Prime95 for 30 minutes, hwinfo64 is showing Core Temps Maximum 61C.
Idling at around 27/28C.

I don’t have any stock cooler numbers unfortunately
Beautiful , looks like the GPU just barely fit haha

Looks fantastic bru!

Except you need to clean the bottom, what kind of a pigpen are you keeping here?
Yeah have no idea what that is

I suspect it’s because it lives on the floor, or possibly it is even “rogue” powder coat that got blown out after actually using the case

Looks like paint chips maybe. Or dried spiffle from when you built it saw the RGB.

Yeah, the Fuma 2 rev B
Looks cool, and the price is not bad. Is the performance much better than the other 2? I need to check my temps with Prime95 sometime, it gets a bit warmer than I would like during gaming though.

no idea, I didn't look too much into it to be honest, and it seemed like the fuma 2 was pretty closed to high-end coolers with a medium end price, so just ended up going with that (wootware sells it for less than it is available in other countries - $66)

I built a chocolatey script to install the latest versions of all software I would use on my systems, stuff like Sublime text, VS Code, Steam, Epic, VLC etc. That, together with Onedrive backup makes subsequent reinstalls much less effort.

Microsoft also have their own package manager https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Package_Manager. There are gui frontends available.

Scythe is absolutely the best value right now. Just one thing I don't like is their fans. The kaze flex fans doesn't have enough RPM to move a lot of air and have a high static pressure but they are quiet though. I replaced my fans on my scythe mugen 5 with old corsair fans from an old corsair h75 running at almost lowest speed still quiet and move more air and have higher static pressure so temps doesn't go abovce 55C even on stress test.

I need a new CPU. Do we have local pricing on the 5800X3D yet?

I'm trying to decide if the price differences between the 5600, 5700X and 5800X3D are worth it. (probably not)

Mainly gaming, but quite heavy multi tasking with Lightroom, Photoshop, plex server, maybe docker and SQL server, and others stuff while gaming. I don't like closing apps.
Will the extra cache of the 5800X3D help even more for heavy multi taskers like myself?

Core-focused rendering tools will probably not see a benefit, pure-process dependent workloads like cinebench actually see a reduction in performance because of the 5800X3D lowered clock speeds.
Games & other such which are memory-dependent see a massive boost. (I am unbelievably dumbfounded by the factorio performance on the 5800X3D)

There's still nothing wrong with nabbing a 5700X, 5900X or 5950X, they're at really low prices now, especially if you're coming from a Ryzen 1XXX or 2XXX.
If you don't care about the difference between 130 FPS and 150FPS in-game, the 5800X3D means nothing to you.

It's up!

Expensive but still gaming performance/watt/cost better than the i9's for most games!
Especially if you're still on AM4.

I decided to go for the 5600 @ R3800 last night so that I can definitely have it before the long weekend. On a 1080Ti at 1440p it will probably perform very similarly, even though I really wanted an 8c16t again.

Yeah don't think the almost grand over the 5600 price is worth it for the X.
