Link?

This https://www.zotac.com/us/page/product-warranty-policy says otherwise. If it's 5yrs then I would have gone for the zotac instead of the galax.

Did you get your gpu?

Would've gone for the Zotac Amp! mainly because of the warranty, but they're sold out everywhere it seems. So went for the Gigabyte G1 Gaming instead.

Edit: I settled on the 1060 instead btw. I needed a GPU that could at least run 1080p with everything on max, but with Vega launching early part of next year, I didn't want to invest that much cash in a 1070.

I guess then where Wootware got the card from makes the difference, the US policy is 3 years but the European policy is 5 years.

If you go to the page you linked and just change the us to gb or nl you will get ZOTAC Warranty – Europe.

Didn't get my GPU yet.

Indeed, I've been shopping on UK sites, which is the reason for mentioning the 5-year warranty.

You'll be able to do 1440p in many games as well on the 1060. I tried GTA V at 1440p and it ran 60+ fps, all depends on the game.

3 years from Wootware. My Zotac 1070 AMP has already gone up by R200 from last week. :)

Galax is 2yrs but you can extend it online to 3yrs which I did last time but not with the new one.

Wonder if I can do that with the Zotac? Any idea where? I've mailed them.

I see today my Zotac 1070 AMP price is up R400 from last week! Glad I pulled the trigger.

Holy **** that's a long cooler! Question: have they made any cosmetic changes to the card, i.e. is the "Devil" still upside down on the side, and is the Star of David still on the backplate?

Can't see the middle of the backplate (cpu cooler in the way) but can't see a star anywhere else. Can confirm the plastic Red Devil on the side is upside down :p

Dammit! New 2.5" 4tb drives are tall. Does not fit in my Antec 110 ISK. Good news is you can open, remove, replaces and close the external drive without tools.
