So any new Budget pc for 1080p 60fps in games like Battlefield 4 on at least medium settings? I don't need a pc but just checking. I only want the box no screen etc etc is needed
Budget is a subjective term. What would your budget be?
cheap as possible to give 60fps on medium to high in battlefield 4.
Nice build! I love WoT! I played with my HD7870 LE (Myst) and an i3 and I got 43fps - 60fps. Once I upgraded my CPU to i5 4670K I get a constant 60+fps. Which clearly shows that this game is actually CPU intensive, the same can be said about your i5 giving you those frames
My next mouse is going to be the M65, it got very good reviews and it seems you are happy with it as well.
See you on the batlefield!

Some things don't have to be cheap at 7-8k, but that budget will be necessary for better fps.Ok budget is about 7-8k. doesn't have to be intel or amd could go either way as long as it's cheap.
Guys, rate my build - any input is appreciated as this is my first time building a PC:
i7 4770k - R4,161.00
MSI Z87 G43 - R1,708.00
Western Digital Caviar Black - R1,042.00
G.Skill Ripjaw 1600Mhz CL9 - R1,060.00
MSI R9 280X 3GB - R4,176.00
GS 700 PSU - R1,265.00
Cooler Master 431 Elite Mid ATX - R553.00
Dell S2240L IPS LED Display - R1,999.99
Total cost: R15,964.99
So is there anywhere I could save cash here? Perhaps a 700W PSU is overkill?
I would also like to know about cooling. My brother has the same case and similar components and gets pretty hot. It doesnt have cable management, so maybe that is something to do with it? Perhaps I need to buy some sort of extra cooling system. Or maybe heat is to expected... idk because Im a PC building noob.
Maybe go with the I5 4670K? its only about 10% slower than the I7 and is way cheaper. I think the I7 is only faster due to hyper threading.
If you know nothing about overclocking or don't intend to then don't get the K series. Also, you say you are a game developer? Bigger screen, SSD, and more RAM is what I would recommend.Guys, rate my build - any input is appreciated as this is my first time building a PC:

Final thing, might not want the K model i7 - worth it or not?

Dual Monitor could be great for Game development, go for it.OK cool - I was planning to dual monitor with two of those Dell screens.
Final thing - is cable management essential in order to help with cooling? Are there any better cases at that price point I should know of? Perhaps I just need to buy some fans?

If you can stretch your budget a bit, get this case:
http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=29&products_id=3610
It has loads of fan mounts.
And yes, get an extra fan or 2 to help with cooling. Cable management has very little effect on cooling, but it's always good practice to tuck away the cables back-side of the case. Makes it easier to clean and change hardware as well.
Just check the specs on the case you're going to get, to determine the size of fans to get. The Cooler Master Sickleflow X are amazing fans, for a good price.
The AMD Fanboy song.

Yeah, they are hard to come by. I think the CM Sickleflow X fans come with those long thin ones. I think...As some of you know I built my first PC a few months ago, all is going well so far. I have about 5 chassis fans running, and it is surprisingly very very quite, need to fit 2 more because I can and there is space and its for looks...
Here is my question... fitting the front fans requires thin long screws, I have looked everywhere but no where can I find any...
I'll load some piccers later
