Hi Guys, quick question, might not be the correct thread but I am hoping to get some advice, I need to replace my current gaming headset (corsair HS50) Looking to spend about R2500 max. Any suggestions? I have read that gaming headsets are not great and that a good headphone and mic combo is better, but I have no idea what to look for.
Philips SHP9500 and V-MODA BoomPro, both from Amazon.
Hey Forumites, need some help picking a new mouse. My CM Storm Sentinel is no longer with us after 9 years of use.
I installed a new PSU in pc. Doesn't go on and feel electricity on case when plugged in?
Yet PSU screwed in, meaning grounded?
Reminds me of the Sensei.Have a look at the CM MasterMouse MM530, I've had mine for two years now.

So... new PC build for a 13 year old who mostly plays Fortnite. Budget is R30k. Streaming may happen at a later stage.
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT Thicc III - R7,499 (Wootware) -
Still undecided on this one. The Thicc II wasn't good, the Thicc III Ultra is revised and has better cooling, and beats the 2060 Super is many games.

Why the hell are you building that for Fortnite? Fortnite can run on a potato.
Nvidia cards perform better in Fortnite though, so there's that to consider too.

Add the gaming chair fee in for a better monitor, see my edit.If daddy says you can have R30k for a new PC, are you going to say no thanks I’d rather have a potato?

Trust me a gaming chair is a gimmick it really is. A decent office chair would be better, 144hz would be the key not the resolution.Gaming chair was a necessity but not strictly part of the budget. Could maybe go 1440p if there’s something decently priced, didn’t look actually.
