Ordered a Glorious mouse on Friday, Evetech despatched Monday, Aramex got it to me today which is reasonable for these times.

This thing is bloody light...feels like a toy after the G703 I was using.

managed to wait it out with takealot
bought a 3 3200g with ebucks for R1,000
and a WD Blue 2 TB for R600
now they are out of the MB i want
darn..guess i will wait few more days or buy from wootware

The motherboard you need flashed?

i was waiting on either the Tomahawk max or gaming carbon pro

the other option is to get entry level X570 board?
missed the sale that TA had on the NVME drives

im getting the 3200G for now
but if i want to get better CPU in the future will the B450 hold especially with ne B550 out

was thinking of using some ebucks to add this for R2200
anything better?

Well it'll hold for one more CPU generation, probably the same as the 550.

the Tomahawk max is +/- 2500 and the carbon pro 3,700 or thereabouts
i hear what youre saying as the X570 start at 4500/5000

B450 will support the Ryzen 4000 to be released later this year.

Can't go wrong with the MSI Mortar Max or Tomahawk Max

Be careful of the budget x570 boards, many have really crap vrm implementations.

thanks guys
been trying to save costs wherever i can
was hoping to spend more but new study for the kids, new MTB bike, new treadmill have all bitten into finances

for the R500 saving versus the Tomahawk and R1700 v Carbon Gaming am i losing much?
see it on TA and with my ebucks i can get for around R1,250?

does this mean i dont need to flash the Bio?

Supports AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen™/ 2nd Gen Ryzen™/ 1st Gen Ryzen™/ 2nd Gen Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics/ 1st Gen Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics/ Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Processors

For the B450s and a 3200 chip yes it means you're okay

even though they dont state 3rd gen with Vega Graphics?
( they only mention 1st and 2nd Gen with Vega)
