Ah okay a budget pleb build. Nice one man.

What’s your cooling solution in terms of case fans?
 definitely a budget build, wonder why my wallet feels so empty....
Got 2 intake 140mm and 1 exhaust 140mm at the back preinstalled from the case, and using a Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm at the top for exhaust. Temps seem decent so far, running Cinebench and 3dmark highest I saw was 85°C for the CPU on a multithreaded test and 65C for GPU.
The cpu fan is definitely a bit loud, got a 2000 rpm scythe kaze fan there but it does the job.

Why not slap an additional fan onto the CPU cooler and run at lower RPM? Might solve the noise issue.

Those temps seem hot man. I know that CPU runs hot but jirre. Perhaps an undervolt would pay dividends.

Oops :p
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 RevB
GPU: Gigabyte 3080 Eagle OC
Mobo: B550 Aorus Elite AX V2
Case: Meshify 2 White Clear Tempered Glass (Glad I got this over the Meshify C, was very nice to build in)
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB (2x16) 3600 CL16
PSU: Superflower 750W Leadex III Pro 80+ Gold
Storage: Sabrent Rocket 1 TB PCIE Gen 3 (main drive), Rocket Q 1TB, and a 2TB Seagate HDD

Not mentioning your Dell S2721DGF(A) ?

Edited to include it :D, the monitor's great coming from a 24" 1080p display.
I've also just gone 27" 165Hz 1440P, from 1080P 24" 144Hz.

The difference is lovely. Does the Dell support HRD?

I could do that need to see how much of a difference it makes, clearance might be a bit tight with the VRMs.
Will also have to check out undervolting, when all those 12 cores are running at full load the temps are get pretty high

Yea it's "HDR400" but I think you really only get proper HDR on TVs and stuff. Netflix does manage to play back in 1440p with HDR enabled though.

Haven’t yet found an equalizer for the mic, though I’m sure they exist. It isn’t bad though, just something to note.

Have you tried Equalizer APO + Peace GUI ?

I have not. Thank you I will try these.

I've got two, great monitors.
Paired with my 3080

Remember to enable gsnync on the nvidia control panel, plus push those puppies to their 165hz limit. Gaming is simply amazing, touching a 60hz monitors hurts your eyes

Playing black ops cold war now and everything's on ultra with ray tracing and gsync enabled. Buttery smooth
I have a dual monitor setup, before it was a 60Hz and a 144Hz combo. Even scrolling on the 60Hz was yuck . Now it's double high refresh rate

Upgrading from 1080P to 1440P is like this.

Good day, I need some advice please.

I'm looking at getting a new Desktop PC or a Mini PC. I prefer the Mini PC's. Easier to move around with.
My aim is to play 4k HDR movies with no issues. Anything I throw at it must play. That's the main function of this machine. I also need windows to run on this machine. I do not want to get another android device. The Beelink devices are very good machines, but only available through importing but I don't mind importing the device. And I can not find any local dealers for the Beelink device. Also the NUC devices are not that bad. Anywhere local I can buy from? My budget is around 6-7k.

Thank you

A build like this would play 4K HDR just fine.
