Finally got my 3060 and i5 11400f today now I just need to decide on what mobo and case

Case I would advice Phanteks P500A if the budget is good.

And MOBO I would advice gaming edition with type-c connector.

My Legos will be arriving this week:

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow (Black)
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Mobo: Gigabyte Auros B550 Elite v2
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 16GB DDR4 3600
AIO: Corsair H100i Pro XT
PSU: Corsair RM750x
GPU: LOL NoStock 16GB ProGamerZ

Going to have to rock my 4-year old GTX 1070 until RX 6800s become available again in... 2025.

It’s safe to say that you are a Corsair fanboy.

Yeah, I like their stuff after having used it for years now - it's really good quality. Also, I have a bit of an OCD problem, so the more parts I have from the same manufacturer the better. Luckily, Corsair makes RAM, PSUs, AIOs, cases and fans! Oh, and peripherals, too! I don't use their fans, keyboards or mice, though: I have Be Quiet!, HyperX and Logitech to thank for those respectfully.

Mobos and GPUs are always Gigabyte.

Where did you buy be Quite fans or CPU cooler?

I thought I got shafted when I bought by 3060Ti a few months ago for R10k, now they selling for R15k! Madness!

You got a candlelit dinner and some lube...now they're going in dry :)

It sucks but that's a free market for you. People are stuck at home with money to burn from not being able to do the things they'd normally do with their cash - demand is up, there are more people into games and gaming due to a lack of entertainment options, there's like zero reason for hardware prices to come down.

Twitch engagement, for example, takes a 50% jump in March/April 2020...almost a million more people on average getting into gaming \ streaming in general. By April 2021, they've almost doubled average viewers from March 2020.

I'm not even seeing an end to it in the medium term - Intel's supposed to enter the market but their discrete stuff looks pretty underwhelming.
