Guys remember to purchase SSD and HDD asap, hong kong prices is allready going up.

HDD mining is a thing now lol

Bought the mobo before I decided on the case and was considering using my old case(cooler master masterbox lite 3). Intel mobo's are also really expensive especially when you want ram to run at 3200mhz so the b560m board was the best value option recommend by experts / youtube.
Ah fair enough.

Looks far neater then my build. Especially if you looked around the back :-)
The only reason I would never go with a full glass case... struggle to close the back panel due to the spaghetti monster.

Replaced the fans on the AIO with some silent ones today, and my GPU arrived this week so, so here's the final build pic. The GPU is heavy is **** - that sag though... should I be concerned?20210424_115728.jpg

Look for a GPU holder to help that sag, though I had an Rx580 that had sag like that and it survived.

Might do. Compared to my 1070 this is REALLY chonky. But apparently the sockets are designed for heavier cards anyway, so I'll see what happens.

It's quite easy to diy a support, just cut out one from a piece of perspex, plastic etc. Use your imagination.

Can't see the usb cable from AIO to mobo - are you running it without the iCue software? How does it behave with the default profile?

Out the top, down the back, and connected to the USB header at the bottom of the mobo.

Haven't done much monitoring but during COD iCue shows 31.5, though Radeon Software shows 57 degrees. That's with the fans set to Balanced and the pump set to Quiet. Hopefully the former is most accurate!

Edit: Googled it, and the default iCue temp that's being monitored is of the [/i]coolant[/i] not the CPU.

Doh...it's right there, missed it completely. I've been tempted to disconnect it and see what the default profile does so I could uninstall the Corsair software...would have been handy if someone tried it first. Something to do on a rainy day, I guess.

Speaking about iCue, the upper temp limit for custom curves is silly -

You can't set anything for temps above 60C. I'd be fine leaving it on whichever speed is just becoming audible and then ramping it up when CPU temps get to 75C.

Finally finished the build after the MB issues (sent it to wootware twice)

the B550 did have a much nicer USB front header location, couldn’t get this one 100% to my liking re cable management

Ryzen 5 5600X - kinda tempted.
