WTF don't you guys have bots down there?! I've NEVER seen 3080s in stock here in the UK.

Thats the "benefit" of having scalper prices in store. When they are the equivalent of US$2,500 in store, there's no room for scalper profits.

Also, I see the 1660 Super is now only R2k less than what I paid for my 1080Ti in 2017

What you putting in the case?
Well, I want to upgrade my pc, the only thing I'm going to keep from my old pc is the SSD. An intel i5 9th gen, with a gigabyte motherboard, 16GB RAM, a 1TB HDD, a CPU cooler and the Corsair CV550 PSU (I'm not going for a GPU rn, cause the markets are shite)

So a gpu will come later. Neither of those cases seem to have good airflow.

Tbf my current case doesn't have it either, yet my trusty GTX 750 ti works well....
A modern GPU can get pretty toasty in tight spaces. And probably takes up a lot more space than your current card. On that note, I was surprised at how much of a chonky boi my new 6700XT is compared to my previous GTX 1070.

Yeah, I've considered looking for cards that can actually fit in my case, cause I prefer mATX builds. I prefer my PC to not take up my whole room's space lol.

Thing is, mATX builds usually aren't THAT much smaller anyway. What you save on a few inches of space might not make up for bad thermals. But, you do you.

Better airflow usually also results in a quieter PC.
Especially considering that those cases aren't that small or even better looking that modern normal-sized cases, I would rather get something like the Phanteks Eclipse P300A which isn't much better.

correction reduced mining capability and also new 3080 stock will be a little bit cheaper
3080ti mines at the same rate as a 3070, so it's been nerfed. Which makes you wonder why retailers are scalping now. Miners are the ones who will pay high prices without batting an eyelid, but gamers won't.

Not gonna upgrade the laptop.

Not sure if you're looking to upgrade the laptop or looking for components for a desktop.

Either way, the answer is no, you have a better chance of finding a unicorn at R2k...

Have Already Ordered The i5-10600KF

Depends on what you will use the PC for ? GPU will determine size of PSU required
