How does the air flow work with solid front like that?
The front side vents. Not a great design, but the only place you can put a radiator because the top is closed.

But the Evetech Ares case which I have currently is is slightly smaller and could fit a front mounted AIO 240mm radiator?
The top panel can be swapped out...comes with a solid cover and a ventilated panel. The front side vents. Not a great design, but the only place you can put a radiator because the top is closed.
You can list the specs here and we have a go at pricing.Hi everyone. I wanted to ask what thread I might post in to get a feeler price for my pc and some advice relating to relocating options. If someone could direct me or should I just post here?
Damn, that sounds tempting. I'll be relocating in a few months and am trying figure out if I take my parts with, or sell and build a new pc there or get a gaming laptop. Thanks in advance. You can list the specs here and we have a go at pricing.
I'll start: R50 and a 6-pack.
Where are you relocating to?Damn, that sounds tempting. I'll be relocating in a few months and am trying figure out if I take my parts with, or sell and build a new pc there or get a gaming laptop. Thanks in advance.
Everything is a year old at the end of this month.

I'm moving to Norway, if all goes well. There would be no custom duties applicable to my situation if I were to take the parts with. I had thought of packing everything in it's original boxes, and putting it in a suitcase then buying a new case there and reassemble it all. Also, pc part prices in Norway are about the same as here when I last checked, and I'll have access to more international ecommerce platforms with lower shipping costs.Where are you relocating to?
With current pricing you're probably better off keeping the PC in my opinion, but I don't know your financial situation.
If it's an emigration situation, there may be customs duties on the other end which affect the costs so I'm not sure. Prices are coming down though, so might also be worth looking at a replacement depending on customs fees etc.

I would think you could probably get something like this for these parts, assuming they're all in excellent condition.
In that case I'd keep what you have. Not sure the cost difference between just sending the entire rig over as is vs grabbing a new case. Monitor is something I'd probably replace there. Shipping is usually a combination of size and weight and monitor boxes are big.I'm moving to Norway, if all goes well. I don't want to spend extra on anything since initial costs to move and cost of living will be substantially higher than here. I don't mind downgrading either, but not a massive downgrade where I'll notice it in performance.
Pricing seems similar to what I estimated, and yeah, the parts are all in perfect condition. Thanks for this!
I'm not even sure where to start on shipping overseas. Best I found was 480 Euros to ship the pc which is pricey haha. Monitor I can buy another there, they're fairly cheap and mine is almost 4 years old. All that will be left is to get a laptop for work but that's the easy part.In that case I'd keep what you have. Also, awesome on going to Norway. Be sure to get the obligatory Tesla once you're there, it'll ease relations with the locals.

I can take 40kg checked luggage on my flights and I'll probably just take clothes since the apartment I'll rent will be fully furnished. Not to mention I don't own a single piece of winter clothing (there's no winter in DurbanI would only take the PC with if you are shipping other items as well. I'm sure you can make better use of the suitcase space than filling it with a whole PC's worth of components.
When our time comes I want to take my PC, but only because we will also be taking some sentimental items and a few pieces of furniture. Even with that I'm toying with the idea of just selling it and buying a new system that side.
You can probably still get a decent price for your 3070, and it's bound to come down in price over the next few months.
Gaming laptop... meh, only if you need a laptop anyway.
I'd sell everything here, the cost and hassle to get it to Norway definitely won't be worth it. If anything just keep the grfx card and sell the rest.I'm moving to Norway, if all goes well. I think this is what I'm leaning to the most, especially since things on amazon are so much cheaper and the shipping is substantially less. I'll list the pc closer to the time. Where would you suggest I sell it, carbonite? And would it be sold as a whole or individual parts? Never sold things like this before so I'm not entirely sure what the best way to approach it is.I'd sell everything here, the cost and hassle to get it to Norway definitely won't be worth it. In Norway I'm assuming you'll have access to Amazon and all the other big marketplaces so building a new PC will be cheap and easy, plenty deals always on the go, just use a price tracker on whatever you need and buy as they come on special.

price increase/decreases are relatively the same as everywhere elseExpat here, curious if there have been any new developments in pricing in SA lately for Hardware. Going up staying the same?
