You will have to add a GPU, but yea that system will game fine. An additional 8GB of RAM will be necessary at some point; but that CPU will game for many years still.

These things sure have come a long way since the old Connor 420mb we had in our 486 that could do 880kb/s
True, still way faster than the 2.5"5TB I had before. They're still fsck slow compared to solid state though, if you're on a tight budget they will do the job.

PC Building Simulator 2 retains the basic premise of the original while adding several improvements. As you might notice in the video, the graphical fidelity of the components you’ll be manipulating has been improved, giving a more immersive experience.
There are over 1,200 individual PC parts available at launch from more than 45 brands, including Intel, AMD, Nvidia, and a range of boutique manufacturers; the developer says the hardware is "true to life."
You also get more customization options, a "deeper simulation" of the PCs you’ll be putting together, and parts with RGB lighting, of course.
PC Building Simulator 2 also comes with a career mode promising 30+ hours of gameplay focused on the "repair shop experience."
This will innovate on the original’s career mode, adding an improved and expanded feature set incorporating years of community feedback, according to the press release.

Jumping one generation takes it from 11430 to 13388 = 17% increase:I'm curious about what difference the less L3 cache I have makes. What do you get on your CPU in R23?

That APU benches higher than my CPU.Jumping one generation takes it from 11430 to 13388 = 17% increase:

That said the heat paste I am using is old an oily, might need to redo that and give it another go. Was hitting 95'C
My 4750G Pro will be up for grabs soon - it is faster than a GT 1030 on the GPU side. That APU benches higher than my CPU.
when i got to the link all were sold alreadyYou will have to add a GPU, but yea that system will game fine. An additional 8GB of RAM will be necessary at some point; but that CPU will game for many years still.

As much as I am a fan of wootware, there's only a handful to talk about.Fire sale going on at Wootware: https://www.wootware.co.za/fire-sale-q122
Not sure if mentioned before
That is very nice indeed. I am hoping with DDR5 becoming more affordable the prices of fast DDR4 will drop. Then I will try something like that.@Rouxenator There's a guy running a 5700G who managed to get his memory to run 1:1:1 at 2500Mhz (5000Mhz DDR4). Seems 2200Mhz+ FCLK is easy for these APU's from looking at HWBOT - very cool.
If you fancy a tinker, might be fun.
What memory kit are you using at the moment? It's likely you can get some additional speed out of them unless you got unlucky with the NAND chips used. That is very nice indeed. I am hoping with DDR5 becoming more affordable the prices of fast DDR4 will drop. Then I will try something like that.
Right now I am running stock except the iGPU is up 400Mhz to 2.4Ghz at 1.3v
What is a Fractal Design Define 7 Compact case like?
Why would that be called a compact case, seems pretty big too me?
Unless you were running 2 gfx cards that needed 2 slot spaces each I'm not sure why you would need bigger than that. Seems to have very good cable management.
Currently on special for R1,379:
How does the air flow work with solid front like that? That extra space for a front-mounted radiator.
But the Evetech Ares case which I have currently is is slightly smaller and could fit a front mounted AIO 240mm radiator? That extra space for a front-mounted radiator.
