I'm running a 5600x with 32 gig DDR4 ram, a B550 motherboard and an old GTX1060 GPU. I'm running Plex, Blue iris, Home Assistant and using it for general work and gaming. It's a great combination and you can get bargain prices for the cou and motherboard. Do yourself a favour and browse Amazon
That 1060 is holding you back severly, should be at least a 2060 to really get some decent gaming.

Sounds like a good idea. But why Amazon? Shipping costs will be exorbitant. Was thinking of Carbonite

Can someone maybe help with an issue I have with my PC, Forums online aren't really helping. So if I shutdown my PC, and I start it up for the first time, before the screens even switch on the PC will first switch of for a few seconds and then come on. Everything will work as normal and no errors. The only time I don't experience this is when the PC is in Hibernate or sleepmode. I have upgraded the BIOS changed Boot devices, the only thing I have not replaced is the Motherboard, memory or CPU. So its not affecting anything its just annoying and I can't understand why its happening.

Finally managed to complete my inverted build

Definitely a fun build all in all, think Im done with upgrades for awhile though. Unfortunately no RGB to make it perform 50% faster. Perhaps if I get time this weekend I'll just clean those dirty fans but for now I reckon its time to just enjoy playing some games xD
Looks good, anyone know where I can find a second Noctua NH-U9S fan for my cooler, as my CPU runs at 80 degrees when I had to compile the Shaders in "The LAst of us Game" I originally bought the cooler from Rebel Tech before they went under.

Sounds like it might be a memory training issue. How old is your motherboard CMOS battery? If it is flat, the motherboard may be doing memory training at every boot.
Rebeltech is still operating, so you could potentially get an additional fan from them.

So I bought one of those upgrade kit from Evetech in 2019, that included an Asus Tuf Motherboard and a 3600 Ryzen CPU with 16gb corsair vengeance memory.

4070 pricing is live on Wootware and it starts @ R13499
Wonder where AMDs next card will slot in, hopefully we see some leaks soon as it's been pretty silent on the AMD GPU front.

Thanks man.
Rebel Tech is back btw

I think that's the fan supported by your cooler, looking at the noctua spec sheet, it would be a 92mm fan. The NF models are specifically for heatsinks and radiators according to their footnotes.
Might want to buy 2 so they match LOL

Ok pricing still think AMD is the better options in terms of vram and performance would be better over the years

I was waiting for the 40 series but managed to pick up that RX 6800 in my pic on carb for R6.5k, I reckon the 16GB VRAM should be good for a couple of years

That’s very cheap

How reliable is carb?

Always had people have bad experience with second hand purchases

Also pairing a RX 6800 XT with a Ryzen 7 5700x

Also will have some rgb fans and lights

Would a 650w power supply be enough ?

Hi all,
Currently looking into putting the following PC together, any suggestions for improvements? Will pair it with a 3060TI that I already have.

Power supply seems overkill.

Decent rig. The PSU is slightly overkill for what you're running now, but you'll want to upgrade the GPU at some point and then you'll be glad for it.

Not sure how much of a rush you're in, but I'll be getting my new CPU relatively soon and then I'll be selling my existing motherboard, RAM, CPU and AIO.
