It was fine for about 30 minutes and crashed now it doesn’t last 2 minutes in game

When restarting the machine, the AMD drivers say that a windows update has uninstalled the graphics card drivers (which sounds correct because it reverts to Microsoft basic display adapter ) but it has done this twice now

Specs :
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Asus ROG B550-F motherboard
16GB of DDR4 3600
EVGA 850w Supernova 80+ Gold
Samsung 980 M.2 500GB
AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT

Sounds like Windows Update is replacing your AMD GPU driver, open "device installation settings" and change it to no.
EDIT: If you have the Pro version of windows use can also use gpedit.msc
navigate to Computer Config -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update, then enable the “Do not include drivers with Windows Updates”
 
Is this a fresh install of Windows or did you take the SSD out of an existing build and put it in this one?
 
Silly question, is the GPU plugged in? Some mobos allow it to turn on with the GPU not plugged in and just barely runs at the power the slot can provide, but loading games will shoot it up.
 
Actually all is good, seems the latest driver and Windows do not like each other, downgraded to previous months driver and all is good

Also, check if there is a bios update available for that motherboard

This is perfect, means I can update to the latest drivers and use this to prevent windows from deleting the driver

Wonder why it does this, doesn't even update the driver, uses the basic microsoft display adapter

I thought this too as I am new to PC building maybe I messed up the power connectors or did not plug it in correct but pretty much pushed it in till the click

Until on restart, the drivers kept getting deleted
 
Also... I Know this is wishful thinking, but is there a way to run this PC on a 1KW inverter like reducing gpu power usage?

The inverter does have a current load of 150w and only need the inverter to run for 2 hours (18:00 to 20:00)

I have a 5600x with an old GTX1060. When doing base work (Plex server, Unifi network, Home Assistant and 6 cameras on Blue Iris, it uses about 100W on my 3KW Mecer. The HP ZR24 monitor pushes utilisation up to 190W...

If you are not gaming or compiling, etc, then the 1KW inverter should work fine.

The gpu is 335w, the cpu would probably be 150w, plus the sundries you're looking at 530 or so. If the inverter is 1000w you'll be able to run it.
But that doesn't mean you'll get 2 hours as the batteries store the power, so to get 2 hours out of 700w you'll need 2 200ah lead acid batteries, or 2 100ah lithiums.

Batteries are the issue

I know :-) when people just say they have a 1kw inverter and say would it work. It's like sure it will, if it's connected to batteries and we have no idea on the batteries.
 
For an Asus motherboard anyone know where to get the antennas for the Wi-Fi and bluetooth

Bought a refurb and didn’t come with one and my Bluetooth strength is quite bad
 
Managed to fix the issue by using a different cable must say pc gaming has been challenging

But worth it been a console gamer my whole life and wow this card puts out some beautiful graphics
