The Perfect TOASTER!

I bought i 4 slice mellerware online from takealot the other day.

to my disappointment it does not work so well with the bigger slices, it still leaves the top part partly untoasted.

i want to open up the damn thing, maybe i can cut a spring or 2..drop the thing so that the slice can go in deaper

Turn it around when done and do another 30 seconds?

I have a Swan toaster. Got it from Makro, like a boss. It's awesome and been working for years. Takes four slices at a time, which is super helpful.

Jirr, R500 for a toaster? I bought a no-name brand at Shoprite U-save, over ten years ago, for R50. Still works, to this day. Ok, it was suppose to be a temp toaster, till I find a better one at a good price, but never got to that part.

Amateur.

What? I always use a wire hanger twisted to fit the top of my stove. Best toast ever.

You could look at the toaster's dimensions and compare it to your bread slice of choice. Most of the toaster's body is the toasting chamber anyway.
