The Pill

Also, get your GF to work out when was the last time she had her period and when's the next time she's due. If she had it a few days ago then you should be fine. If she's due in the next few days then you should be fine as well.

Good luck man... ;)

Yep shes only fertile for a few days, 2-4 donno. But then again your "soldiers" can survive for max 10days in that "search & engage" mission of theirs :p

What amazes is ladies who are having unprotected sex are not on the pill.

silly i say.
This situation is one where i assume the "rubber" broke. Same happened here my first few times, actually didnt know how to put it on properly  mmm never got the "talk" but thats water under the bridge

For some reason Im getting flash backs to 40 y/o virgin where he tries to blow it up and then put it on lol

The morning after pill basically works by forcing her to menstruate (thus "aborting" the fetus if there is one). It's because of this "abortion" that they won't give it to the male. Abortion is a woman's right. They may think you're going to drop it in her coffee and she may want the baby.

"Abortion" Its hardly abortion if you have to take it preferably 24hours after Intercourse. There is no fetus just an egg cell as usual

How can you call it abortion, in most cases if you don't take the morning after pill you don't fall preggies, how can you call something that does not exist an abortion?

Had a scare once with my gf of the time..... Took the pill the next morning - everything worked out in the end.

That said I wouldn't want to be in your position...

You taking the pill.... How does that help?:p

The fact that morning after pills are dangerous and can be used for suicides etc.

:confused::confused: HOW?

Ok wait, let me get this right.

You had a so called accident and now just assume by default she's pregnant

Do you have any idea how hard it is to knock up a woman ? Yes sure it can happen in one sigle accident but the odds are very very slim. Unless she was smack bang in the middle of her cycle ;) If she had a period a few days ago or are due to have one in the next few days, don't stress about it :)

Just because YOU have a weak swimteam does not mean all of us have weak swimteams :p:D

Bwana she works 8-8 and she is the only one in her dept and they have a deadline to complete so I said I would do it - its a bit hard to find a chemist open late but I think im going to go to the canal walk one tonight.

By the way if she eventually does take the thing she'll need a fews days off work so she may as well go and get it herself.

I don't think that they can refuse you, if you explain the situation, if they cant help you the go to the clinic.

What if they sell you the thing. She takes it and ends up in hospital or dead. Then you or her family sue the pharmacy. I reckon they are professionals so treat them as such.

Question

What are the side-effects of the morning-after pill?

Answer

The most common side-effects of the morning-after pill are headache, nausea, painful breasts and irregular vaginal bleeding.

One very important side-effect of the morning-after pill, or 'post-coital contraception', is pregnancy. This is more likely if you waited more than 24 hours after unprotected sex before seeking medical advice, or if sex took place more than once.

Until fairly recently, the standard advice was that the morning-after pill could be taken up to 72 hours after sex, but recent research has shown a significant chance of the pill failing to prevent a pregnancy occurring if taken at this time.

This is why doctors now advise that the morning-after pill should be given as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours.

If the morning-after pill doesn't work and a woman becomes pregnant unexpectedly, there appears to be no problems to the unborn baby - although it is not possible to give an absolute guarantee of this.

Most GP surgeries now have a practice nurse experienced in contraception who can give advice and information about effective pregnancy prevention. It is always a good idea to contact either your surgery, or local family planning clinic (look in the Yellow Pages) for a personal consultation on this subject.

What is the chance of pregnancy actually occuring considering she had about 3 weeks till her next period... I'm stressing - I'm going after work with her to a chemist.
21 days till her period. I'd say the egg cell is not present. But remember your soldiers can survive for 10days, they can sail that ocean till land(egg) is in sight :o

So chance is not good but its not impossible
EDIT: What exactly happend? cuz that could determine how small the chance is. You could be over reacting
Did you actually drop your sailors in the ocean, did their boat catch a leak? Or did the rubber break and you started running around in circles like a crazed hamster?

They give you a strong contraceptive pill. Usually Ovral. So just get the free stuff and take 3 3 times a day.
You feel like hell and never forget to use protection again!!
