Goodday

Two q's

1. Is there any website that you can use to see across all cellphone providers which cell no's are connected to your id number (since the POPIA act came in)
as how can you as an individual check that without going to every single provider?

2. You have the cell number 51654981, which you gave to someone to use (for a long time) - very close relationship that is why they had the number. Now you want the number either back (but in the past you had to give the last 5 numbers dialled) OR you want at least the number off your name so there cannot happen any funny stuff. How to go about getting that done. The other party bluntly refuses to return the sim and the number to you. So you are in a catch 22 situation.

TIA

I only know of a site to check if a number is ported and who the network is using the number.

You can't check based on your ID number or any other way.

If the number was on a contract before, maybe go to that MNO and see if they can do a SIM swap for you using your ID. It might work, but don't hold me to it.

I was able to do a SIM swap at a Cell C store on a SIM that was on my contract before and was moved to prepaid. After they did it I ported it out.
