This seasons local international matches are now available for purchase from cricket.co.za
Seems no tickets for the newlands games are available to the general public. It looks like UK tour operators prepurchased.
 
More on CSA greed regarding the English tour. Really poor that hardly any of our local journos are covering this story.

Daily mail says it was a new cricket touring company started by CSA.
It seems screwed over the local fans and the English fans who travel on their own.

I see the SA A side wrapped up the test series with an emphatic 8 wicket victory. Against England Lions. Having a closer look at the SA side, only 2 players under 25 years old. Jordan Hermann and Tiaan van Vuuren.

For reference not a single English player is over the age of 25.

That looks like an England development side, definitely not the 'A' side.
 
If the Pom team is a developmental team, this sort of result does no confidence to their squad:

Lots of English players are unavailable due to county duty.
You can still only play what is infront of you.

Hopefully they are just trying to sell those expensive tickets before opening to the locals.

It makes sense but I really hate it.

The really bad thing is that when it flops they will just say that test cricket is no longer viable.

They want locals to buy their new local touring packages. Its a ridiculous idea. The local SA cricket fan is not going to use it. All we want is a ticket.
