The WI are due to tour South Africa in December/January 2014/15. Is this going to be called off? Good grief?! Let's hope not.

The West Indies team has pulled out of their tour of India because of the ongoing payment structure dispute with the WICB and WIPA. The fourth ODI in Dharamsala will be their last game of the series, which was scheduled to have a fifth ODI, a Twenty20 international as well as three Tests.

A senior BCCI official confirmed the development, saying the West Indies team management had informed the board of their decision earlier on Friday. According to the official, the BCCI was trying to find another team as a replacement, with Sri Lanka being the favourite.

"They have withdrawn their team and this (development) has come abruptly. We received an e-mail from Richie Richardson, the West Indies team manager, only this morning," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel told ESPNcricnfo.

It really wouldn't surprise me. They've got massive problems if they pulled out of an Indian tour

When there are 4 tests that's usually the arrangement and the two venues still get better audiences then all but Cape Town. Also they usually provide good cricket wickets.

OK it seems I may have jumped the gun a bit...we scheduled for 2 tests against Bangladesh and 4 against India away. I don't know whether the 4 tests against India will happen...seeing our 'relations' are not so sweet especially after they shortchanged us the last time they were here.
