The Proteas - Our Team!

See the Poms beat the West Indies by 9 wickets IIRC...

Hope they do not find Spectacular form in the next month or so :o

England's batting lineup is very good at the moment but remember England did not face good bowlers. South Africa's Bowlers, IMO are the best so its going to be a good series. Just my 2 cents.

Their win in the previous match wasn't very convincing, against second-rate bowling and batting. As usual though, our only weakness is ourselves. As long as we don't have difficulty breathing, I reckon we should win.

Heard Biff sometimes gets those if he has to run more than three runs in a session :p

J/j, that was Inzamam-ul-Haq :D

All-rounders Chris Morris and Faf du Plessis have been called up to South Africa's T20 squad for the first time ahead of an unofficial series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh next month.

The squad will be captained by Johan Botha in the absence of AB de Villiers who is one of four players being rested. Jacques Kallis, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel are the other three.

“The four players concerned have turned out in virtually all their games for their franchises during the Indian Premier League (IPL),” Cricket SA (CSA) selection convener Andrew Hudson said on Wednesday after naming a 15-man squad.

“In addition they are involved in all three international formats for the Proteas and this is the last chance to rest them until the end of the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka in September and October.

“Du Plessis has been a stand-out performer for the Chennai Super Kings at the IPL and well deserves his T20 call-up.

“He has given us exciting, extra options by demonstrating his ability both at the top of the order and in the middle-order.

“Morris’ selection continues our policy of creating international opportunities for those who perform outstandingly well at franchise level and this certainly applies in his case.”

Morris was the leading wicket-taker in last season’s domestic T20 Challenge, with 21 scalps at an average of 12.6, and was also effective as a lower-order hitter with a batting strike rate of 200.

Farhaan Behardien and Dane Vilas have been recalled to the national T20 squad.

Marchant de Lange
JP Duminy
Faf du Plessis

Uh-oh, seems like Biff's vrou may have fscked things up for him ahead of this tour! No doubt he's gonna be a target for endless sledging and snide comments! I think she was sent by the poms to infiltrate and sabotage :D

Morgan Smith, the wife of South Africa's test captain Graeme Smith, has revealed on Twitter that the star batsman has a large penis.

The Irish pop star, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, tweeted the following on Tuesday:
"Baby @GraemeSmith49 I've gotten a hold of this book for u,it should solve your problems."

The singer was referring to a book titled How to Live with a Huge Penis.

She later tweeted: "Literally cannot stop laughing!!!!! Couldn't resist!!"

This is not the first time that Morgan has posted embarrassing content about her partner on Twitter.

Last year she informed her followers about the batsman's sexual performance by stating "Sex is gooooood with @GraemeSmith49".
