So does this squad announcement effectively put the ABD 'will he won't he' saga to bed? From what I understood, he had to play in this series (or at least some of the games) in order to be eligible for the T20WC.
 
Don't think so we still have 5 T20's against West Indies in August, I think we are building depth now and that will be the series where we effectively play our WC team
 
Thanks Faf, it wasn't easy at the end, but no-one can doubt his commitment.

Damn, I haven’t even thought about cricket for the last month.

With all the kak in the world, at least we're quite certain to be undefeated at the T20i World Cup.

Or just get a game in once a week.

Last year I hustled my ass off to get my company to sponsor a team. We had an ok 1st season.

I was hoping to get a farewell game in before i move to my new job in May :(

Would be better for him to say he's absolutely 100% done with the Proteas and leave with dignity
I think loyalty to his buddies is what's vreeting him - never a good reason to come back.

I honestly dont see the point of this... and i dont think its got to do with his old mates.

For all his prowess with the bat, this ****er cant make a simple descision.

Why all of this extra bullshit about "i dont know how i'll feel then" and "i dont know if i'll be in form"

surely its as simple as: you want to play or you dont want to play

u want to play: ok fine. heres a few games. make sure you make the team

you dont want to play: ok fine. fokkoff and hou jou bek

i seriously want to punch him in the face
 
Should we allow the Kolpak guys back into the system if they want to come back?

Most cricketers are young in terms of age and life experience so I would not really mind seeing them come back if they still feel strongly about representing the country with pride.

For some reason though, the thought of Duanne Olivier representing the Proteas again disturbs me and I hope it does not happen.
