Positive sounds. Hope Faf's form holds up until the 2022 T20 World Cup - I want to see that man go out with a bang. Interesting to see if Abbott, Roussow, and others do well in domestic limited overs as well: gonna be some interesting selection decisions ahead.

Agreed maybe even Morris if he picks up some form

I'd be pretty happy for the T20 World Cup to be structured like a soccer World Cup with groups of four, then QFs. More countries, more entertainment and the sport grows.

This won't work as ICC want as many "derbies" or big matches as possible. Two groups guarentees some big games for the most money. Groups of four means one or MAYBE two big teams in a group. Then the chances of upsets mean that big teams may be dumped out before they even get a chance to play another big team. We won't be going to groups of 4 for a while.

Two groups are fine just have quarters, this will also allow teams to experiment with line ups in the group stages

Apparently now you can play professional sport and not care about winning

Priority would probably be given to those who lived in bubbles for a long time, like the players who were in the Windies, Ireland and the IPL.
