Brilliant. I'm pretty sure there's a wack load of old tunes covered by newer bands that we're not aware of either way. There's the Undertones 'Teenage Kicks' and the Skids 'Saints are Coming' I posted on the first page for example. Two old skool punk classics and I have to say i loved Green Day and U2 covering the The Saints are Coming, but 1D covering sampling Teenage Kicks really annoyed the crap out of me when I heard it on the radio :(

I was never much of a fan although yes, Woman and Streets of London were pretty good. But I was 14 and at school when So What was on the B side of Streets of London and holy crapp, it was the most shocking revolutionary thing you can imagine for the time. We even got the DJ to play it at the school dance and the teachers went crazy and it was taken off half way through :D
