The puzzle of evolution.

Welcome fellow evolutionists!

So we have a big puzzle. Find the new pieces so that we can link them with the old pieces, support other pieces, find the pieces that do not fit etc.

No anti-evolution discussion allowed.
scientific skepticism is allowed but give a clear scientific reason(s) why you do not agree.
If any of you have gods, they are not in this thread. This thread is not about what caused evolution to come into existence. The thread is about the growing theory of the process of evolution itself.

So to put it simply, if you read about a new (please give your views of what should be considered as new. Is posting articles from the year 2000 and on OK? etc.) discovery relating to evolution, paste it here including a link of reference

I hope we can have lovely conversations together! Scientific conflicts will occur (eg. some scientists classify viruses as alive while others do not) but try to accept that not everybody thinks the way you do! Genetic diversity is what keeps a species strong and resilient!

If you have any other suggestions, please post them and I'll add them to this post.

Here's an article I read about a month ago and didn't quite know what to make of it: Scientists shake Darwin's foundation -- chickens inherited parents' stress symptoms

I suspect that there are hidden factors that make this seem like a form of Lamarckian evolution when in fact it's just a misinterpretation of results.

It still looks very interesting though. What are your thoughts?
