The temu one is fine :) plus it's a lot cheaper, just make sure it says R36S

Excellent battery life, just a pity most android games does not work with the joysticks and arrow buttons, without a bit of tinkering and a 3rd party app.

Still waiting for my temu order. Id be very surprised if its not a fake but you get good fakes and horrible fakes.

You can return items on temu so open it carefully test it including updating the firmware and then decide to keep it or return it.

While I wait for slowway to deliver my r36s I though I'd ask.

What is your favourite out of the Dig Dug/Mr Do/Digger games?

Mine is Digger but its sadly only available on dos so I've downloaded Mr Do as its better that Dig Dug in my opinion.

Digger was probably my mom's favourite game, I was quite good at it and got very far.
Those little bastards can get quite tough later on when the map is mostly all tunnels...

Just pulled the trigger on this one. Feeling the buyers remorse already, but let's hope it's worth it. R644 for the 128 (actually cheaper than the 64, and I know I will need to replace that card in any case). Keep your fingers crossed, ja?

My son was busy playing it for 4 hours last week after getting it, we all took turns trying to see how far we could get in Donkey Kong... Not very far :-)

Mine arrived today its a clone with the single chip.
I loaded the community edition of ArkOS on a 128GB Lexar ssd.
Played around with it and it works very well.
 
Mine is in customs at the moment, Temu/Fastway are welcome to deliver it now... I got two 64GB Samsung EVO Plus cards at R129 each (+more deal at Incredible Connection), should be getting my wifi dongle tomorrow. Much excite!
 
Got my delivery yesterday. Done plenty of tinkering and additional spending. Firstly, I figured out that it is indeed a clone with only one RAM chip. It works fine, though. I loaded the ArkOS for clones on it and the boot time is MUCH quicker. Got it with a 128GB card, which was chock full of content, so I had to make space on my PC to be able to back it up. Got an ADATA 128GB card (R166.75) this morning, which seems to be working just fine so far. Just a heads up - if you want to prepare a secondary SD card for it, after formatting it, insert it into the console before booting up: the guy in the video I watched, inserted it to a running console, and that did not work for me. I got an OTG adapter (R55.20) and the WN725N dongle from TP-Link (R148.00). This works like a charm and can even scrape the interwebs for thumbnails for all your content.

I am far from an expert, but really enjoyed fiddling with this little machine. The only downside is that my son is doing his best to expropriate it without compensation.

My philosophy was to get one and later another. If the first turned out to be substandard, it would get passed on to the 6 year old boss of the house and a second attempt at getting a premium device would be attempted. If the original was a premium device, another one would get ordered from the same vendor. So it would eventually be option 1; but for now, we need to get over the device honeymoon phase with the little one before he could get his own. Also, I would need to trim the library down substantially for him, and ain't nobody got time for that.

Okay second with 128gb is definitely different and even running a different os and emulators. Even the r and l3 don't feel as good.

Nope, not always so easy on Temu to do so :-). First one I've got it running the latest ArkOS and on a new 32GB memory card for OS and 64GB card for games, new one keeps telling me to insert TF Card when trying to boot off Ark, will need to check a few things further on it. As the OS on it is a lot more restrictive compared to ArkOS.
