The rand is tanking

I've been at an IT distributor for less than 18 months ; in that time the price of my product is 25% more than it was when I started :(

If you think that's bad, watch the JSE in 3...2...1...

Well what do you expect when nobody has any reason to want rands? Commodity prices are tanking, which isn't under "our" control, but so are tourism numbers, commodity volumes, manufacturing output and local [re]investment, which are all under "our" control. Don't blame the Chinese for the SA government's anti-tourist policies, anti-business policies and the negative sentiment that leads to.

Third world ****holes run by incompetents voted in by idiots can only head in one direction...

It happened before, it is happening now and will happen again in the future.

The markets have taken a beating with Greece and now China slowing down.
SA chose the wrong people to partner with and now have to play the hand we were dealt.

All I'll say is I'm buying lottery tickets for European and American lotteries! U$90million x R13+ = :wtf::D:love:

And the new iPhone is coming... Going to be a very expensive purchase.

bad policy decisions coming home to roost on top of commodity price rout etc etc ,we not the only one but SA pretty insignificant in big scheme of things .Africa would hardly get a mention .

JSE has made its easy money.QE money got to go home some time! .Financial advisors thinking they know alot about returns and just buy this so called financial product.Expect some real blood bath on equities.

I was planning to get a new car in 2016/2017. By that time an entry level car is going to cost 250K

It's also because the country is a monumental **** up not just because of China. We are going to get another downgrade.....watch

yes definitely; question I always ask is how does one take advantage of the chaos.......

as Im sure somebody is loving this state of the rand in its current form......
