Given that we don't have the speed the car was going, yes you do have a point. However if this was in normal traffic and going the same speed as the other cars or even 10 - 20 kmh faster, then it just shows a badly designed chassis which could be life threatening if you swerve in an emergency and the car is eager to flip over... I chuck my classic beetle around corners and besides for the obvious and controllable understeer there's nothing dangerous happening, and that's a 70 year old chassis design on a 46 year old car...
Because it is lifting a wheel does not mean it is going to topple over more than a car that has unnecessarily long suspension travel to keep trailing the wheel touching on the ground. Yes, it is cheap and nasty and probably 'scary' to look at - but that is what this car is. Your classic beetle probably has infinitely worse handling and would topple over as easily (if it could generate the momentum).
