Car guards , my strategy is the following ...
When i park my car and there is a guard , i ask for his name and i show him which car is mine.
When i come back i ask the guard to show me which car is mine, if he can then he deserves to get a tip. If he cant then he wouldnt have known if someone tried to steal /scratch etc my car so he was not doing his job = no reward .
would you be able to at least remember 10 cars for 10 different people ?

i'm curious do they actually serve a purpose apart from taking your R5-R50 from you per parking?
would they really stop a robbery / 'scratcher' or do they mark the non payers as targets?
i mean seriously do you really need a car guard to watch other your car at pick n pay for example if its not parked in a dodge place then they are just collecting your funds, aren't they ?
it seems a little like paying the mafia for protection...
