The Ripple (XRP) thread

Wha ha ha! These fools tried to come play on grounds they did not know, and they were unprepared. They got slaughtered at their own game. More to come in coming days.
The signs were there in the telegram group. "Let's push to $1" etc.

If it really was a buy and hold like the GME thing, there would have been no mention of price.

Fortunately I managed to cash in and will hopefully triple my XRP portfolio when it drops back down to around R3 - R4...

Agree.$1 was a little too ambitious, although it does prove that with enough buying clout,a minor push can be motivated. I didn't fall for any of it but would've made an absolute killing out of it if I'd dumped. I took a grand, spoilt myself and left the rest in. I'm not phazed by this: on the contrary, to have pushed to 11.91, high sub 12, adds to Xrp past performance now, whether genuine, or inflated.

Still premature to know what Sec /Ripple squibble will outcome.
Now have to relie on it falling some more to replenish stock. After that: i divorce myself from all emotion and cash out when i can, not out of insessent need.

All the XRP hype reminds me of my last time I owned xrp (0.88) a little different though... got out(+-USD3) 3 days before crash

hey Big Guy !.
Oi .... Listen TO Me ...... Like Im Some fckn CryptoGuru now all of a sudden ROFLMAO .
Day trading Aint for me : at least this gives a plonker like me a buffer default "zero " , to Work with: My Buy-in price , which , thankfully is low .
I Shoulda let loose the Douuugs and sold off a little more , cashing in on the R11.91 rumble .
Alas: My Aspirations with them are More than just a little blip On the Radar. I Want The "post stand-off" xrp theory to Realize, unless Brad is all taking us for the piss. Adoption of idea , that Being: Xrp as a transitional payment method between multiple Banking platforms , is The only Thing That Will save Xrp's Neck from the noose. Otherwise: It Will wallow in mediocrity and languish in the 50c Realm For good , until Another Telegram group spurrs a bunch of willing and Gullible investors to throw themselves into the Fire. I Got in very early, so my coins can stay mine until someone or Some Thing , comes up with a suitable figure :say $20 or More. If Etherium could do it( Admittedly far less coin In the pot ) If BTC could Do it , I see No Reason Why xrp , with it's huggge trading Volume , can't Follow Suit .
My Boss , for One, will not enjoy it though : quickest I'd Resign and Enjoy my Kids , from All the Money I'd have Left after Givign squirrel Some of it for Capital Gains . Lol !

SNyper: I have a serious question for you . Scenario :

THeory : Buy IN at R5 , hit's R10 ( R100 becomes R200 :for E.g) Sell off R100 , wait for Dip .
Heads to R6.30 (humour Me ) , buy In with the R100 , wait for Rise , sell off Again .

PLausible Though lengthy strat for my eldest Son , to Learn how crypto works ?

He's learnt the idea that "It's Only Profit when you sell , it's only Loss If you Sell well below initial purchase figure .For The Rest : Ride it out until youCan Turn a profit " .

Yes ?
I Know It Sounds stupid, but I Thought I'd do Him a steady, and stuck some Cash onto Luno for him .
THank You sir!

Xrp is a little different from btc in that its not a store of value, it's design was to replace swift payments. Which means the higher it goes the more useless it is for this purpose.

This pump is hype I don't think it will ever exceed its ath (IMO).

What I do with a situation like this is oncebits x2 sell half and let that ride risk free

What wallet/s do you use to store Ripple?

There is not a lot of wallets supporting Ripple. I gave up searching some years ago. I currently use a hardware crypto wallet (Ledger Nano X), which I suspect is also the only hardware wallet that supports Ripple. All my different coins are stored on the device, which I carry with me when needed.
