Sinclair was brilliant here imho. Sure, he was a little 'pc' wrt AB scrum, but he does really well to explain and highlight things.

Have to wonder why WR can't train their ref's properly for officiating the scrum after this video and just how informative it was.

Me too, I'm suprised - I thought Porthen, PDV and maybe Boan would get a go or something.

But I can understand the thinking - 4 matches so they need to win to seal the series.

I think he understands, anything less than our best isn't winning.

Rennie's AB's are a far cry from Razors AB's...

Very worrying, albeit impressive, what he has achieved in 2 short months.

Having said that, I wonder if he'll be able to get the Blacks up for the 4th test?

I think some of them are running on fumes at this point, both physically and psychologically...

They lost some big guns over the weekend too, Ardie, Quinn and Luke.... conceding that penalty try from the scrum and that maul try, will have left some serious scars...

A Bok blow out would be a oh so, so sweet way to wrap up the tour.... 15-20 points asseblief??

True that. I would gladly take a Bok blow out after the close, tense games we've been having. Just to prove a point that we can also play attractive rugby, a.k.a. Tonyball. Haven't seen much of that this series.

It is a bit surprising and goes a long way to squashing the exhibition match narrative.

It's also a huge sign of respect from Rassie.

Having said that one would expect significant changes for the Australian Test. I want to say up to 10 in the starting XV.

We should be able to field a super competitive and fresh 23 for Australia.

Is it 2 tests down under?

No, only 1
 
No. 1 test against Australia on the 27th and then Italy, France and Ireland to close out the year. With the nations cup final too.

That's 3 tough games in Europe. Geesus, been a hulleva season to date.

We live in hope.

There were signs of it in test 3.

I'd expect to see a lot more of it in Europe, depending on conditions.

I think playing fast and loose against this all black side can only end one way for us. Better to grind them upfront and exploit their weaknesses in the tight 5.

I'm really looking forward to watching the blacks going forward. They're playing an amazing brand of rugby, very much in sync with their DNA and how they've traditionally played.

It will be interesting to see if they have the cattle and depth to continue with Rennie's inherently attritional game plan.

Aus still ok, but those EU games are at the end of the year, 2 months after the Aus game if I recall.

Not to be underestimated.

Rassie and the Boks won't though. Suncorp, Brisbane is a tough place to go and win and the Ellis Park debacle won't be forgotten soon either...

I watched bits and pieces of Aus v Tina and I got to say, I wasn't all that impressed.

We should... SHOULD.... put 25-30 past them....

There will be major changes and we will still win relatively comfortably.

Australian rugby is rather tepid at the moment. Tough sell.

Les Kiss has his work cut out for him. Good coach but not in the Rassie/Rennie league. Australian rugby's biggest mistake was letting Rennie go. So short sighted of them.
 
I rate Rennie in the top 5 of coaches globally.

All Blacks are set to dominate world rugby under him once again. That's if their players can come to grips with his game plan.

Something has to give at the breakdowns. The total commitment to ferocity and brutality lends itself to disciplinary issues as well as player burnout and fatigue.

Well I am still on the fence if this All Black team is much better than under Razor.
It seems they just throwing the ball around and see if it sticks like the French/Freestate of old. They seemed to be either offside or coming in from the sides at every ruck. I suspect as soon as refs pick up on that and start penalising them, we going to see the same results as under Razor.

This is what amazes me about the bok team selected for this upcoming game. The chaps bodies must be aching. The games have been physically brutal.

I have no idea how they manage to keep it up.
