They are playing 17H00 local time. They are 6 hours behind us, so 23H00 here. (edit) 10H00 in NZ (following day).

Anyway, even if it rains... it doesn't seem it will be a significant factor. Just a little bit by the looks of things.

Rain and rugby have been together from the start.

It makes me wonder how it works with American football. Do they play through the rain?

Sounds very much like the Springbok/NZ RGR series was marketed, scheduled and structured solely with the financial future potential of 23 billion dollars and 130 million pairs of eyes in mind (Superbowl final).

(Rugby's Greatest Rivalry', as a slogan, did strike me as a bit premature, I must say. With pundits scrambling to justify the label when other nations raised an eye-brow. Now it looks like the marketing was more than a bit swayed by the financial potential)

Rugby union will never be the same if the Americans develop an interest in the sport.

 
Nobody pays for something without expecting something in return.... most often at this level... control.

Springbok fans had better not be naive about this.

AB fans would be quicker to give up control. That's my take.... but Springbok fans could easily be swept up, thinking it's just about the money.
