Eddie's last game before this one at Loftus was a 92-3 defeat for his Reds side.

He has to win the RWC otherwise I think even he knows he is toast as a coach.

Anyway, justice is done.

They thought they are great for winning some games against the Boks in Australia.

Welcome to poesklap land.

Shell shocked mates.... LOL at 07:45

Old Eddie MOANS strikes again...

I would be good to know what really was said...I'm pretty sure that Eddie may have inferred or hinted at the fact that they want to play the best SA side and this was not for some reason?

So the journalist that asked the question took some liberties by claiming Eddie called it the B-team. Hahaha..

The Ozzie pack is absolutely terrible. I was just shocked how many line-outs we lost. Those 2 "new" locks must really wake TFU.

Quade Cooper should have stayed in Japan. I have no idea why Eddie picked him? But then again, behaind that pack the best fly-half in the world would have struggled.

We left 21 points on the field, so they got off lightly in the end. Worst Ozzie side in history I reckon.

It was such a fun game to watch.

The Aussie team was ridiculously poor though. They put no pressure on our players at all. Libbok could basically do as he pleased. I don't understand why he wasn't targeted by the Aussie defence. The Aussies also kicked everything away and their kicks were neither contestable nor for space advantage. It's difficult to see what they were trying to achieve with it.

Eddie's team selection is also really strange. I look forward to watching their next game to see if this was a fluke or not because the Aussies were outplayed in every facet of the game yesterday.

I really really hope we can beat the All Blacks. Man it would make me so happy. It's going to be tough. The All Blacks in New Zealand is a completely different kind of match.

Go Bokke!

The Bokke played well yesterday, didn't pointlessly do a high kick and charge constantly and the 9s (Reinach and Williams) played quickly... We smothered the Aussies any time we could, we played lekker traditional Bokke running rugby.

Next week, it's the All Blacks. I hope the Bokke can implode their studio at home and keep playing lekker like they are now.

I see the U20 still playing in a mud pit today.

The UK and Aus media are giving him a right go for this.

“You don’t have to be a smartarse mate,” Jones said again. “You should have more respect mate. I never said that mate. I said we always want to play the best. Show some respect.”

Our best would have included Malcolm Marx, Eben Etzebeth, Lood de Jager, Franco Mostert, Jean-Luc du Preez, Kwagga Smith, Faf de Klerk, Cheslin Kolbe, Makazole Mapimpi, Damian de Allende, Jesse Kriel and Siya Kolisi.

Is that really what you wanted Eddie?

Not entirely convinced who's 1st choice and who's 2nd at this point.

De Allende already, I would much prefer Esterhuizen. Arendse over Mampimpi too. Jesse Kriel... no thanks.

Alot of room for debate which is an amazing place to be.

Stupid playing this tournament in CT! Negates home ground advantage to some extent...
Athlone Stadium actually holding up well. This loss won't go down to the surface. Truth is we've been living on borrowed time this whole tournament.

Ireland's professionalism and adaptability just proving to be the difference here (imo)

That number 10 was so shít, not just the kicking.
Ireland was really solid and we just had nothing, no attack

Well done to the senior Bok team, I really enjoyed the match. 2 problem areas for us were the lineouts and not clearing the ruck ball fast enough. NZ can punish us if we do the same. The real test is this Saturday. But pumped by the win and Eddie Jones' dejected face and tone at the post-match interview was priceless.
Didn't see the u20 game but sad to lose by such a big margin. But to be honest, we never inspired any confidence when we played, so we were on borrowed time.
