Surprised that they sending a full strength squad tbh.

I think Rassie is treating this match with the deadly seriousness it deserves. After their win in NZ and then the dismantling of Australia, Argentina will be super motivated to add a third SH scalp. They're also mathematically still in the race to win the RC and have little to lose.

Its based on the ranking points not the team. Plus Boks are way ahead at top rank barring Ireland. If the points difference is more than 10 the Boks get nothing, plus home teams gets 3 added to their ranking points when determining the difference between the two teams - to simulate the advantage of playing at home.

Currently even beating the All Blacks will get the Boks little points especially at home.

Team at the top has the most to lose, one slip up will hurt the rankings

This really seems skewed. There should be a max fall ceiling if a loss ( ie: you only lose x points at most )

Very glad to see the Am-Mapimpi combo back. I'm surprised Mapimpi is traveling as he just had a new born.

I'm expecting Libbok to play his socks off with the new competition from SFM.

Are we resting players for this Argentina game?

If so, that means we are underestimating them, and that could be bad news for us.

They beat NZ, they just klapped Aus. We should treat this as if we are playing a top level team.

Losing to Arg would make us look really stupid.

Yes, we're leaving 7 starters at home. Which also means we'll have 7 fresh players for the return leg.

Um, shouldn't we win the Championship before resting players.

Win this next game and the Championship is ours.
Lose and the nerves kick in for the final game, then anything can happen. Rassie should know better IMO.

Maybe you should make a YouTube video about squad management. I'm sure someone will send him the link.

Argentina are good but inconsistent.

Now is as good a time as any for Rassie to rack up hours on peripheral members of the squad, while resting some key players.

The side I posted above is good enough to win in Argentina and if they don't there will be a fresh squad of players waiting to finish them off in Nelspruit.

I hear that. I just think we should put the Championship to bed. Win it and be done with it. Especially given Arg wins over the AB and Aus. Underestimating them could be a bad idea.

Then we can rest the whole team if he wants to.

Instead of being an internet wiseguy, maybe respond to what I said, otherwise shut it.

I'm here for a conversation about rugby, not your stupid insults.
Where'd I insult you? I'm not the one insisting I know better than the guy who's been primarily responsible for winning the last two world cups.
