Something is wrong at The Bulls.

They can't take lineouts and struggle in scrums.

If there was ever a time to complain about the officiating then it was in the Stormers game.

That said Blommetjies was sooo bad. He cost The Stormers the game actually imo.

Springbok women lose 75 - 0 and then after the game they go around singing and celebrating.

No respect for the people that funded their trip and expenses. No wonder SARU doesn't spend more money on woman rugby because it's a bottomless pit.

They shouldn't even have been there. Making a mockery out of the sport.

True. I get that they don't have funding etc and it's not easy and they are so much weaker than the other teams but the way they danced and celebrated after that 75 - 0 is a slap in the face to everyone that supported them financially or otherwise. Obviously we don't expect them to sit in a corner and cry but the way they went about it after just left a foul taste in my mouth.

Maybe that was their way of showing appreciation and thanking the people who supported them? Who are we to tell them how to show that appreciation...

Maybe. Maybe it's not fair because we know what the Springbok jersey means and it means winning so maybe it's not fair for me to compare but it just didn't feel right for me.

What would be your opinion if the Springbok men started celebrating like that after each loss?

They do a walk around and thank the supporters. I feel that was a bit more appropriate for the ladies here.

Comparing the mens and ladies teams is not fair imo. They are at very different stages in their respective rugby paths. The ladies game is fetal by comparison. We cannot hold them to the same standards that we hold the men's team.

Their showing is purely down to inadequate preparation and support. This falls squarely at the feet of SA Rugby. They're the ones we should be holding accountable, not the players. For the players themselves, a lot of them are playing their first (and possibly only) world cup. It's only natural for them to be looking beyond the result and enjoying the occasion.

Should be forfeit if you are unable to play...
I agree, never heard of games being postponed because too many injuries to players. Why postpone if everyone is sick? That is their own problem.

Imagine going to a World Cup and postponing the final because the one team's players are sick.

I try to avoid racial discussions around sport, but I am honestly intrigued as to whether the racial makeup of the women's team is representative of the talent and interest of female rugby players.

Or is the men's team not representative of the talent pool?

Just seems odd that the racial makeup of the two teams are polar opposites

Taking the kids to Loftus on Sunday for Bulls vs Sharks.

We were there for the quarter final earlier this year as well. Maybe the Sharks can hold out for the win this time. But it was brilliant by the Bulls to clinch it after the hooter.

Disclaimer: I don't support either team. Cheetahs supporter in Pretoors taking the kids to experience the atmosphere and have a nice day out with the family.
