I can't understand how our record against the Aussies in Australia is so piss poor! Lost both games against them last year and the last time we beat them in Oz was in 2013.
Hoping for a win tomorrow. Hopefully we have learned something from our defeat against the Kiwi's.
 
Rugby IQ, the aussies have it, we don't. Think we'll win tomorrow though. Aussies have lots of casualties and questionable depth.

I hope so for my work superbru comp sake because I can't lose another round to people who don't even watch sport. :rolleyes:
 
Dave Wessels made an interesting point on the rugby bits podcast.

Reckons when the south African super rugby teams were touring Oz they put up in snazzy beach front hotels (he mentioned Coogee beach, Sydney) with a strong party vibe. Says players felt and behaved like they were on holiday and the results suffered.

Later on they started staying at different venues with less distractions, more focused on actually preparing and playing rugby and they started winning.

I don't know where the Boks traditionally stay while touring but Adelaide is like the Bloemfontein of Australia so let's hope they better prepared than in previous tours.
 
I'm hopeful that we can get a good win this morning. If Argentina can pull off a win surely we can too.
 
The Aussies have a knack of outsmarting us. I'm nervous about this one
 
Did anyone else see the dangerous clean out on DeAllende now just before the Aussie kick in the in goal area?
