Nienaber's whole team selection and game plan is to be able to give the other team a pat on the back by saying well played. We saw it with the 2nd match against NZ. I have never seen such vociferous congratulations from South Africans of the opposition ever. The same will happen when we congratulate NZ as the winner of the tri-nations.

I am OK with this if we are building backup players for the team for the world cup if they have potential but some of the players they selected don't deserve to be at the world cup and god help us if they are selected in a playoff game.

The coach says we are missing the big picture by complaining about the selections. Would NZ, Australia or Argentina ever select a Ox, Dwebe, Steyn and Jantjies in the squad to build for a world cup. Never. Then why the f should we put up with it? No coach in his right mind would select players like that.

To be fair, I thought Duane had a much better game today. But yeah, still head scratching decisions regarding selections.
I'm one of the biggest Duane fans out there, but Wiese would have made loads of effective carries where I didn't see Duane doing that, granted we also didn't have much of the ball to play with.

I just wish we'd mix up our game plan a bit. Its so clear that if we can't impose ourselves early, there's no plan B. We also rely too much on the ref for penalties at set piece. And then when there's k@k reffing we wilt. Also I think Siya has to take some responsibility for poor game management. We've had plenty opportunity to put points on the board today but it's always in touch when Aussies clearly have our number. Perhaps senior players as well need to take some blame. Players also look tired. It's been non stop test rugby since early July right off the back of URC where SA teams went deep into and other NH competitions like the Prem. We need to align our seasons but can't see that happening whilst we're in TRC

Watching the NZLvARG game and it's really pains me to say this but I think South Africa is the weakest team in TRC right now....

Have the refs always been so pernickety? This one appears to blow for every little thing.

This Argentinean can kick!

Yeah and defend, they look organised... Even if we win next weekend Argentina will be a proper test

This niencompoop of a coach is no Rassie .... and the selections are atrocious. Good job being last mate

I can't see us beating Argentina if they continue to play like this.

So it's time to realize Argentina is a genuine threat to the title this year. And if I were a betting man, I'd be inclined to stick a few dinero on them for RWC 2023.

Heads will roll in New Zealand if they finish 3rd or 4th.

Argentina have a good chance to win the comp. They have one tough match left against NZ but last 2 matches are against the woke team who win or lose are happy and will never put pressure on their coach.

Well done Argentina.

This has to be the weakest / kakest NZ team to ever put on the all blacks jersey.

Well I think the players aren't bad but why they didn't choose Scott Robertson as coach I will never know. Must say they never really looked like scoring in the last 15 minutes and that is usually when they shine. I think all 4 teams still have a chance to win the Rugby Championship which I guess keeps it interesting.

As **** as we were we had more than enough opportunjties to win that game.

Argentina will cop a heavy loss next week but will beat the Boks.

Boks... well not sure if they are putting any effort into the breakdown. That de Allende push over the ball is pretty much what we saw the whole game in Nelspruit. We had one example since.

Gotta be better than that.
