Goodnight Mr. Wright! Holding thumbs for your lads against India!
Yeah, it wasn't THAT bad. The first half was pretty good, the second half was disappointing.I'm surprised by all the negative analysis of the bok game. Aside from the few silly knock-ons we played really well. Italy having a solid game is not bok weakness.
And Italy really showed up. I hope this game motivate them for the second one and not that they gave it their all and got crushed. I want to see them be competitive. Because we did crush them.
Italy playing a young team who want to do well is better than their old well known players who are used to a culture of losing.
I wonder what Justin Marshall thinks of that result...France vs NZ
All Blacks legends slam ‘disrespectful’ French selections as Justin Marshall pleas to stop ‘inviting’ them
“To be honest, I’m really disappointed,” he began.
“The side the French have bought is clearly underpowered and you’re talking about an average age of 25, and an average number of caps of 9.3, this is a side that has a very little amount of experience. There’s 49% of the players who have no caps at all, so it’s a development team with a few senior players involved.
You said you are surprised by all the negativity. Any Bok team should never struggle in the lineouts, mauls against a what was actually an Italian B/C team.I'm surprised by all the negative analysis of the bok game. Aside from the few silly knock-ons we played really well. Italy having a solid game is not bok weakness.

Just heard that the NMB Mayor has sacked the managing agents for the stadium here in PE just days before the upcoming match against Italy.
So that's going to make things interesting.

Media Advisory: “Business as usual” for Nelson Mandela Bay Test
Media are advised that SA Rugby has engaged with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality following reports that the authority had terminated the mandate of the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) to manage the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
A spokesperson said: “We have received assurances that it is business as usual for Saturday’s Castle Lager Incoming Series Test against Italy and, indeed, our 09h00 operations meeting with the venue staff today went ahead as per normal.
“We have no concerns in any way that the match will be effected and will make no further comment on the matter.”

Poor game by the Boks on Saturday. Nice to score 6 tries when playing badly but this is not the standard we are used to.
To concede a maul try from an Italian B/C team was shocking.
And they outscored us 21-14 in the 2nd half.
Bomb squad was a damp squib.
Hope this is a wake-up call.
