It's so hard to critique, the Boks are playing a lot of rugby, Tony Ball. Fast and loose and fairly high tempo, ball in play, high pass rate, phase play. They very busy and at the same time making lots of errors but also creating a lot of scoring opportunities

It's the right path of progression for sure. But it isn't instinctive yet and until it is, it's high risk. Better sides will punish those mistakes

That’s because they are not a team who normally get past 5 phases. It’s usually 1 or 2 phases then kick and chase, hope for a knock on or lucky bounce, then BOOOOOMMMM a try, or just milk a scrum penalty.

They’ve used 46 players in 3 games.
Last year they used 50 players.

For the bigger games coming up they’ll use the more experienced guys.

B&I Lions winning as expected.
The Bok game was again frustrating to watch - stop-start, high error/penalty rate and the turnovers conceded are worrying. But some nice tries scored and lots of new players used to gain experience.
Well done to the Junior Boks beating the Junior Blacks to win the final - Nice one!!!!!!!

Feels like Georgia put up a better fight than Italy actually. Maybe the Boks underestimated Georgia but they also like physicality so maybe when a team matches us in physicality errors creep in. It was so frustrating to watch when they ran the ball they looked so good.
