"Another black leader leaves ASA"... Oh wait, that's just reserved for the DA, isn't it?

Here are a few takeaways:
  • They wanted to remove BB as ASA GP leader and place him as national spokesperson instead (probably due to the following reasons below)
  • BB telling Mashaba to stop aligning party policy with his personal beliefs
  • BB seems more open to an ANC coalition
So much to say on this. Everyone said Bongani was throwing away an open door to the Gauteng premiership with this stupid move.

The worst was when he became a petulant and arrogant fool, taunting everything the DA did. Then he became silent and now he’s leaving. Pretty much exactly as our fearless leader Zille said would happen.

Hate to say I told you so. Good riddance Bongani. Hope you learnt your lesson. I wonder if he’s gonna try and get back into the DA

Serious?

I get that but the open door to the Gauteng Premiership, I am sure he won't be losing any sleep over that, the DA can hardly keep the mayorship of a city.
He was fully behind fanning the flames in the DA vs ASA wars. He is culpable in a lot of the bad blood that collapsed some coalitions.

I trust he is losing lots of sleep. A shoe-in for the Gauteng premiership behind a United DA, and now is out in the political wilderness.

Eish, it’s cold outside the DA
