I remember reading an article shortly before BB left, which said he was a shoo-in for DA GP Premier candidacy...Serious?
And he did have a history of good governance to back him up.

That sums up your post, yes...Nonsense, such a position would never be handed to a blek.
Why not?such a position would never be handed to a blek.
Yes, I know that, candidacy being the key word, how does it go from there to him throwing away an open door to the Gauteng premiership?I remember reading an article shortly before BB left, which said he was a shoo-in for DA GP Premier candidacy...

She is just being pragmatic. Can you imagine the hostility she would face if she even lets out that she thought about it ?We all know how these politicians lie.

True, I do understand that, just saying it doesn't mean anything, we've seen this before. She is just being pragmatic. Can you imagine the hostility she would face if she even lets out that she thought about it ?
He left in 2019 right? That was before ASA even existed?Did the non-experiment guy, Trollip, have to undergo such allegations (of leaving DA) ?
I re-read my post as below but I concede that there are A, S and A alphabets in that phrase. He left in 2019 right? That was before ASA even existed?
Same with Beaumont?
undergo such allegations (of leaving DA) ?
Among the evidence used was that Molapo liked a Facebook post of someone attacking Herman Mashaba in a social media thread, Beaumont said.
Difference is that in by-elections, you're voting for your councillor. And they're often cool people."Wrecked" -- lol. After DA's amazing by-election results in the last year or so?
Note: Hedley was a definitely a Mmunsi fan. Wonder what he thought of the DA suffering its first post-1994 decline in a national election in 2019?
hmm...Someone in DA taking notes..It's descending into a full blown dictatorship.

ActionSA terminates Nkele Molapo's membership after finding she shared party info with husband | News24
ActionSA has terminated the membership of Tshwane councillor Nkele Molapo after an internal investigation found that she had shared party information with her husband, Abel Tau, in contravention of party policies.www.news24.com
She said her relationship was being isolated and pointed out that other party members' relationships were not, including that of Brutus Malada, who is married to DA member Mpho Phalatse.
It must be quite rare (in SA) for people not to vote according to party lines. I can probably understand if tiny majority of voters switch between DA & FF+ or DA and ASA (recently seen in suburbia) but not really beyond that.Difference is that in by-elections, you're voting for your councillor. And they're often cool people.
In the national election, you'll be voting for Solly (in GP) who's not bad, John (nationally) and ultimately Zille as a the puppet master pulling their strings.
It's a bit ridiculous that the DA doesn't seem to have any limits on how long you can hold office. Zille can theoretically run the show until she dies, and she's not everyone's cup of tea. I actually preferred James Selfe...
It doesn't seem like the first time she leaked party info...It's descending into a full blown dictatorship.
