Because they don't. And LEAP can only do so much...

If SAPS is devolved to the provinces, I'm sure WC will be able to tackle the crime rates.

I reiterate. ASA did the same thing in EKH, but now when DA does it since the others desperately want to work with PA (and DA doesn't), now it's a massive problem.

But then again ASA studios implode regardless of what DA does.

Which is precisely the reason the ANC won't let it happen... They can't have a single province showing them up in pretty much every area.

Oh ok. I have seen the badge (some kind of silver star?) on someone (probably our complex gardener wears it) but I have not seen any colleagues wearing this badge.

Except I would hazard a guess that if the WC controlled its section of the SAPS, something like Khayelitsha might see a marked turn around in crime stats and then everything that flows from it.

How is he going to arrest Putin without Police then ? Is AF going to help him or has he got comic guy's SWAT team on standby ?

I think he was using hyperbole to point out how candidates are ill selected.

In your opinion who can these wardens confront?
Is there any value for money deploying force like that in a country that has 82 murders a day?
